Leeds Resident In Tears After Being Arrested Over Rioters

Talk EXCLUSIVE: Leeds resident Nicola Wilcox claims she was a victim of two-tier policing, after being arrested at a riot while handing out ice lollies to officers.
"The men started to pull their hoods up, the police told me to go home or they'd arrest me. I couldn't!"
Nicola goes on to tearfully recount her experience of being jailed:
"It was the most hideous, alien experience to me. I've never been in a police station, I didn't even know why I was there!"
Sir Keir Starmer has rejected claims of “two-tier policing” in Britain after Nigel Farage suggested riots over the last week have been dealt with more harshly than other recent unrest and protests.
The Prime Minister flatly denied Mr Farage’s claims as a “non-issue” and insisted policing was carried out “without fear or favour”.
Rioting has spread across English towns and cities over the last week, beginning in Southport after last Monday’s stabbing in the Merseyside town which led to the death of three young girls.

They literally marched her off while holding onto her wrists. They treated her like she was the criminal while behind them there were rioters literally throwing objects. She's even confirmed this by giving several interviews. You're telling me I'm jumping to conclusions while you've already made up your mind and assumed she must be guilty of causing an offence? She used her words by venting her frustration towards the police as in why they weren't stopping the rioters and they didn't like their authority being challenged so they nicked her. It seems to me she was arrested because she declined to follow a lawful direction to leave the scene. She said she was afraid to go home in case the hooded demonstrators followed her, as they were taking an interest in her, but she didn't tell the police officer that, she just refused to leave. It's still insensitive policing but to be fair, she was warned.
