Just a couple of points Max Yes, great result, 3 points and me move on towards our target Yes, Bellingham sent off just under an hour played. Well done QPR Not going to get carried away. Plymouth came to ER with a vastly depleted side. Five first teamers out. Darko couldn't play. Not sure why Whittaker didn't play. They just don't have the strength in depth as we do. We are the best team in the league and having to play us at home with what they had I can't really fault them. Rooney had no answer to our play I am also at a loss as to why Farke bought Schmidt in. I would have thought he would at least have been one of the five subs to come on. Even for half an hour to give Byram a rest. If I was Schmidt I would be fuming to be honest That's my view over. It's great we are pulling out results with a lack of squad depth, next month will test us with the heavy winter schedule, then we can look forward to bolstering the squad in January with new signings, and see if we can get promoted from there 💛💙

Great performance by us, let me say that again, ‘great performance by us’ There’s a theory in management/motivation based on ‘Catch them doing something right’ - sometimes even when we’re great we focus on how crap the other team was, or how we didn’t win well enough. Who cares?! Rooney wrote this game off before he set off for ER. Makes a change right? Teams usually want to risk everything to beat us. Smart use of resources from Rooney. (Farke could learn something in that dept) Playing for pride’s ok but rarely profitable. Sometimes better to keep powder dry for more winnable battles.
