Very physical and very brutal. Res don't seem to protect Leeds in these games. ALSO Millwall have just beaten Burnley and will be on a high. Millwall live off bullying others and the ref lets them get away with it. Chambers and Crew were great....inspired move by Farke. BUUUT we beat Millwall last year to go top, Gnonto took high levels of physical aggression in the Plymouth match. I was surprised that the ref let it go. Great analysis - thanks.

Would look to play big Josh in this game for his height and physicality to counter their main treat Jake cooper and keep the corners and set pieces to a minimum as Meslier doesn’t instil confidence with crosses and Millwall will look to put him under Ariel bombardment just not sure who you drop to accommodate big Josh?

I'm hoping Gnonto and Rodon get a 90th minute yellow card so that they miss the QPR at home game (one of our easiest) and come back with a clean sheet for Swansea away and Luton at home.

so millwall will be different to Plymouth. as you say a different test.. shouldnt the team be set up differently given that we have talent on the bench. for example might we be better with Josephs ability to hold the ball up rather than Piroes occasional finishing? And might Josuhas size and experience be more useful to start. The sort of flexible approach that should be taken to different opposition. Also with another game at the weekend, rotation should be considered

I still think end of the day schmidt hasn't really been given a fair go like we know why wober isn't starting middlsbrough but schmidt all we got is farkes word and 10mins of playing time it's not like farke doesn't have history with this he had gruev who could start for any team on the bench till january when an injury forced his hand to give him a few games same with tanaka many a times its an injury that takes it out of his hands gruev wasn't even coming in for sub appearences that's criminal now we know how good he is and i think that stubborness with farke he takes it a bit too far last season leeds were close to the bottom in subs making appearances ipswich don't have a better bench but they used the bench that needs to change now we can't be rolling out the same 11 every saturday and wednesday
