Great analysis Locky. It was a great performance after the first 10 minutes and one freak moment doesn’t change that. Hopefully DJ is fit for the Blunts and all who travel to internationals come back healthy.

When I was playing Rugby. I was told to catch a ball in flight, and you never know which way the ball will bounce when it hits the ground. THAT is also true in football as the ground can be cut up during a match. Thank you for the vid Locky. I like it because it's a thinking channel. I'm the same as you. Wait and see. If they're not performing, then the manager needs to react. I was happy with the start team. I was a bit concerned at the last part of the game where Daniel started taking off attackers and replacing them with defensive minded players. Sitting back frequently causes issues.

I feel he is passive and lack confident. Only depending on his instinct to make save. Error will come when u hope that the ball will come your way.

@@jarellchen agreed. I think he is the weakest player in the team BUT he had had a good game. The 1st Goal, he'd made a great save and the defence let him down as they weren't there to cover (I'm a defender :( )

Meslier did cost us the win but up until that point thought it was one of his better games hope those 2 points won't cost us in the end but does no good to batter him now he's got to be tearing himself apart hope he comes back from this

Unrelated but I wish there was more punishment for tactical fouls... I can think of at least five times where they came at us, we countered fantastically and they just pull Gnonto, or Ramazani, or Rothwell, and these are situations where it could have been a very comfortable goal. A sending off is too much, but it does feel like a yellow almost isn't enough. Leeds looked fantastic as a team last night. Our good luck will balance out the bad, and we got this! I think this fires the lads up. 1 loss in 9 games and that was from a slip. We look good!

I've noticed a lot of shirt pulling or perfectly timed pushes against Leeds players and nothing happens or just a free kick, usually in safe, middle of the pitch areas, but we get pulled and booked immediately even when it's often a great tackle.

@@Ghengiskhansmum I agree - in the Norwich game, there was such an obvious push in Gnonto's back. I could see the Lineman saw it, so it was quite visible. The ref may not as he was behind the Norwich player. I'm not certain how many fouls they can signal and tell the ref, but I'm certain the ref listens. The lineman flagged something similar later on a Norwich player and the the ref reacted. So the question is - why flag an same offence that was on Norwich, but not Leeds. Has Gnonto got a price on his head (so to speak)? Is this just me being a Leeds supporter and being biased? As far as the card - that is often as those offences are happening and he's had enough, and someone gets the card.

Spot on with everything, mate. What's your thoughts? At what point does Darlow actually get a proper chance in the first team, not 1 off games with second string. He may not be any better, but if he is proper competition, surely he deserves a chance at some point.

Apart from the mistake, he played well,& let's not forget, 10 mins previously he'd been kicked in the head, maybe he was concussed, who knows,, i know there'll be those who say im making excuses for him, that doesn't alter the fact about the head injury. Maybe he should have gone off, who knows?

Hello 👋 Locky first thing respect 🤝 to Daniel Farke for starting Mr Piroe who scored his goal and yes I would start Mr Piroe against the blades. Junior Firpo was first class 🥇 and scored a rare goal 🙌 Willy is on another level this season he is the main man respect for taking the bull 🐂 by the horn's. The whole team playing for the manager Ao Tanaka 🇯🇵🎌 and Joe Rothwell playing well Jayden Bogle will get better he's a good lad have confidence in him. U would of gone for the draw i said 1.1 would of been smashing for a win it wasn't to be 😳. Meslier I couldn't believe it clanger of the century the worst in year's. In Daniel Farkes interview he was calm and his man management of players should get him through it's a tough take especially last kick of the match 😫🫣. The biggest clanger in Leeds history was Gary Sprake at Liverpool at the KOP end chucked the ball into the net 🥅😳😫 and the Tannoy man played careless hands 🙌😫 to rub salt 🧂 into the wounds thanks Locky calm analysis keep fighting we all love Leeds marching on together 🦚🇮🇨🤍💛💙

Meslier pre-mistake 90 mins + give him 6-7: the mistake 97mins - 0. So 3 is about right tbf. My response was about 20 loud, continuous 'NO's that reverberated around the house. I couldn't believe it. I feel for Meslier, that sticks with him forever. Goalies do have it hardest being the last line of defence.

On the positive side we have had good couple of games except for Farkes decisions coming home to roost. On Tuesday it was his subs turning a probable win into a close run draw and on Friday it was his decision to not get a decent Keeper. That is 4 points that we could easily have had thrown away. I feel sorry for Meslier, he is what he is and he has mistakes in him but any decent keeper would have caught that ball, the divot changed the balls direction but it was Meslier who let it bounce. The other thing that grates on me is that we never throw the ball long from the GK thus starting attacks, it is always slow and obvious, no doubt these are the instructions.

It's such a basic mistake. You learn as a kid to keep the body behind the ball just in case you miss catching it....

Absolutely gut wrenching to not get that win. Meslier is definitely the weakest link in the team irrespective of Fridays mishap. He is weak in many areas of his game. I have no confidence with him in goal but that is on the club for not addressing this position. I wouldn’t personally message him that’s just not the way. But he does need replacing and the sooner the better

Locky, Did you think both Rothwell and Tanaka were trying to feel out each others styles and preference pockets of play? Did you think that the performance changed when the legs of Aarronson and Rothwell started tiring around 65 to 75 minutes? Do you think both our wingers start to narrow? Should they be starting on the sideline and only coming in after they have made the defenders think that all they doing? Do you think the ball movement is to slw around the 2 CBs? Are both firpo and Bogle a touch to high with their starting position?

As a goalkeeper his profession is to make these decisions at the highest level his wages back this up, he should be dropped as a reminder he needs to be on it for the whole game, he needs competition to progress. This season he has cost us more than he has saved the xg was 0.25 in the second half, this is my take as last season we were literally 2 games across the season away from promotion, and mistakes like this, like the strikers 1 on 1 cannot continue, we don’t want the almost and what if 🏆 to go with the 90point trophy 🏆

You obviously know nothing about football. When MJ plays the other team have problems against us and we can counter attack with pace. The problem when Joseph has played is he has had no service from other players in the team if Joseph had started yesterday and had the service Piroe had we may have seen what he can do. I would take Joseph over Piroe all day although people talk about Piroe being a better goal scorer from watching Joseph for a few seasons he is much better than Piroe and fans like yourself will have to eat their words especially if he gets sold.
