This may just be my most favorite interview ever. It is such an empowering experience to listen to two men in their sacred masculinity. I am not sure what I enjoyed more: the content of the discussion or the humbleness and respect and genuine flow of the conversation. Lee and Mark, you are appreciated more than you know. I will share this episode with my 3 daughters as I know it will leave an energetic impression on their soul. Thank you so very much.

Yes, totally agree! Though I would say what impressed me more than either of them embodying their sacred masculinity was the beautiful balance each naturally expressed of their inherent masculine AND feminine energies; yin and yang embodied in dynamic harmony.

Mark's poetry is also VERY wonderful, and deserves to be read more widely. I am really grateful for the metaphor and image of whales and dolphins surfacing, then going deep, the rhythm of that. Thank you for the beautifully tender conversation, the intimacy, the pace of a deeply shared understanding of what matters and what lasts.

Hands down, one of my favorite interviews Lee has done so far, full of poignantly expressed - verbally and energetically - observations and insights from a life well-lived 🥰 I particularly appreciated this interview because even though I’ve head of Mark Nepo, I’ve never taken the opportunity to read any of his books or get to know his work in any real way. I resonated with Lee’s reflective commentary on the palpable spaciousness he felt from Mark’s auric field, and how that permeated the energy of the interview; I felt it too. One of my favorite take-away quotes: “be with emptiness until it expands into spaciousness.” ✨

Pandemic has made us a global body oh my I feel at one with what he says! I have been so sad since what is happening in our world. As a hippie I did not know it could go so wrong for so many years now. Yet I find myself in such compassion and self care. Soon I will turn 75 years old. I feel so in love with goodness and I have faith in being love and light just so I can smile toward myself at being alive to be of heart rather than mind . I am awake and calm and clear in the present moment now it is ordinary magic what a blessing! Coming home to one self is beautiful ! I love this interview Lee! Bringing heaven to earth is bringing earth to heaven. I love Naropa and Chogam Trunpa and the Great Eastern Sun! Be Here Now book by Ram Dass. I love you both 🙏

May my ❤️ lead me now even though I am blunt and too intense and yet so empathetic . I so have needs keep asking now and my courage to be held. Thank you Lee for what you read from Awakening. Yes! I think of myself as a Late Bloomer and I love that thought. I am 65. I have been paid to write, in different ways, for much of life. I am now writing my first book. It is an autobiographical novel, I guess... that is the closest I can come to describe it.. I think that, whatever it is, it is great fun for me and maybe the first time I believed I had something worth saying..? 🙂

The explanation of goodness reminded me of the 5 times in my life the kindness of strangers came at the exact time I needed it most. I think they were angels in disguise but didn't understand it at the time. So thank you the fella that helped me push my car out of danger then gave me and my 3 young children home. Thank you the man who paid for my bus fair to the hospital to see my son who had been in a road accident. The other gentlemen who were gentlemen when I was in need. I have always tried to pay forward kindness because indeed you don't always know how the act can mean so much.

Thank you Lee and Mark....very profound and heart-warming discussion. What touched me especially was when Mark said, 'Journal about one foundational story ' and straight away I went to my 5yr old self when I'd done something wrong and my maternal grandmother saw me shrink back and silently she let me know I wasn't going to be beaten. This may sound negative, however to me I felt so safe and loved. Bless you and all viewers in love and peace ❤❤

Again, two of the individuals who have assisted me. Good to know Mark has an understanding of the 12 step programs as they are important in my mind. Soooo much wisdom. I would have like a bit more of a definitive answer in growing older (as I am in my last quarter) but I guess he can't be the 'go to' on everything. That's really good to hear too, that we all assist each other as some are in need one day and not the next (or hour/minute). I felt soooo nourished by this. I did wonder why he didn't offer a cross promotion comment. He said it was good to be there but didn't mention the benefit of Lee's work although it is implied and he did touch on the benefit of each person: that no one being is The leader. He may not be familiar with Lee's work. Interviews are such a great way to get a sense of the human behind the work/message and that makes the message more meaningful. Plus it's encouraging for those of us trying to hack out the fur ball that is repressing our own message. Thanks again Lee. It's a distinct level of spiritual growth needed to sit in the silent spaces through that chat and not 'drive' it. 🙏

I had a similar moment when I was lying in bed, about to get up and my kitty Henry curled up beside me and we were spooning. I thought to myself, "I am going to lie here and just experience this wonderful moment as long as I can. This is what life is all about. This is the good stuff." I keep reflecting on this daily, so to hear him speak the same sentiment feels like we are on the right trajectory.

Became a little too political and deeply manipulative in highlighting what the man termed the Barbaric Insurrection of Jan 6th. I suggest we are all aware of far more barbaric happenings in the world than mostly peaceful sightseers walking calmly around a building taking snap shots.
