My perspective is that she added him on fb and he found out her status is single. He was afraid to accept and talk to her tsam his wife found out. On the second verse it clearly states that good thing he didn't chose her in the first place, other wise he would be single like her cause she probably left her husband. That's just my thinking. It makes sense to me. She's probably the one to end her marriage so when he found out, she is still his leej muam dai siab but he wouldn't change his mind either to stay connected cause he is faithfull to his wife. Great song!

My understanding is that the girl dumped the guy for someone else. I also understand that you can still dai siab about someone you choose to let go. That particular phrase gives me the impression that the girl was not good enough for him...Please help me to understand.

Thanks for pointing that. The original lyrics was supposed to be glad that she didn't choose him but the words were twisted during final recording. Now its a puzzle for people to solve and you caught it. Thanks 😊
