I agree. I lost my mom 5 yrs ago, but I still got my disabled dad with me. Even my dad have one arm he still can cook, do laundry, can drive, cleaning the house, and watch my kids for me. When my dad listened to this grandpa response for his kids my dad did not agree with this grandpa said at all.

Nah, God has no eyes and no ears... even if he does, he doesn't care cuz we're less than ants to God. This story is a case in point. The mother took care of the father when he was sick, the father got better, the mother got sick, the father got a new, young teen wife, the mother got cancer. Does this look like God as eyes and ears to you? This old man just basically told the world how useless he is as a man. Instead of helping and supporting his wife during her time of need, he runs off and makes excuses for his selfish needs. How shameful of him to run from his responsibilities and still expect his children to give him money so he can live a carefree life with his other wife. Foreigners cannot own land in Laos so all the land and houses he buys in Laos is legally the property of a Lao citizen (in this case, is his teen wife). When he dies, everything goes to her, zero for his family in the US. He said that the air is better in Laos... but as they say, the grass is greener on the other side. The reason why his health is bad in the US and better in Laos is because in the US, there are a lot of bills and his wife is ill so lots of stress. In Laos, he has the $60k he took with him and his teen wife so he has no worries and no stress so he feels better. But when his money runs out, he will see stress and that the grass in Laos is not as green as he thought and the grass in the US is greener. He will soon come back to the US, work and send money to his teen wife in Laos so she can cheat on him with young Hmong Lao men. He may even divorce his 1st wife so he can bring his teen wife to the US. So what does this mean? This means everything their father owns, including the life insurance, will go to his teen wife. In 10-20 years when he dies, his relatives will force his kids in the US to dish out $50k to $100k for his funeral. When he dies, the kids he has with his teen wife, if still in Laos, will be begging the 1st wife's kids for money using the fact that they share the same father as leverage. Since he is begging his kids and the sick wife he left behind for money, I surmise that he isn't collecting SSI or SSDI yet. So he will come back to apply for it.

If she doesnt, he is going to have her disowned by his relatives(he literally threatened her) And he says his children should send him money too by guilt tripping them and gaslighting them. My FIL was so similar to this guy. In the end he ended up dying in some strangers' house because he didn't want to live with any of his kids because they didn't support him and his overseas adventure. He sent more than 1/2 his SSI monthly to his "young wife" that he never even met in real life. He claims his "wife" supposedly built him a house, a banana farm, two fish pond, and a cow ranch and that he was going to go live in Laos and never come back. Because of his poor health and Covid he never got to Laos to live his fantasy.
