Chenle's voice is the backbone of NCT Dream's sound. When I first became a fan I always noticed Haechan and Renjun's voices first because they have such distinct tones but eventually I realized that Chenle can adapt his voice to any tone he wants and his ability to blend his voice to whoever he's singing with is why Dream's harmonies are so incredible. We're so lucky he got over his doubts about moving to Korea and joining SM.

천러가 얼마나 노래에 진심이고 노래 부르는걸 얼마나 좋아하는지 알 수 있었던 영상 같다. 노래를 부를때 가사와 상관없이 위로해주는 느낌이고 감정 전달이 진짜 미쳤다. 가슴에 바로 와닿는다. 천러의 음색은 부드럽고 담백하면서 시원하고 단단하고 구름같다. 진짜 천러가 노래부르는 일이 더욱더 많아졌으면 좋겠고 다른 사람도 천러의 음색, 노래에 대한 진심을 다 알았으면 좋겠다. 그리고 천러가 리무진 또 나와서 노래 불어줬으면 좋겠다.

ikr chenle is always love challenge but SM never give opportunity before. pre-boom era he sings beautifully some english songs with riff runs eventhough he was not singing seriously. he was able to show off his vocal but he has not much opportunity but i think started in hot sauce album it feels like it filled with chenle's voice

@@narunaru9190 in hot sauce is strange because i feel like they still not giving him oportunity, irrepleceable for example is a song that really disrespects him in my opinion, the end of the song gives a lot of adlibs to haechan and renjun and just ignores chenle, that hapenns on rainbow and some others songs of the album. But in hot sauce he at least he has some lines more showing up him, but in glitch mode i feel like he was really there shining a lot and having a lot of lines.

I have been following nct dream since debut in 2016, and all i can say is chenle's voice change is really dramatic. Back then, chenle's parts for me does not stand out over the other vocalists in dream bc well we know they have really unique tones even in the industry. His vocal just nicely harmonized in the background, as a support and the source for stability but never the main character. But nowadays, as his vocal matured, i really fell in love with his developed tone. Chenle's voice has this soothing color with the right amount of control, very stable and strong but not too nasal or too airy. It's very clear too, something like taeil's lower register (the oldies called it 'voice like pealing bell') and he is mostly not strained even for higher notes. He got very strong support so even the hardest choreography will just be a breeze to him. Over time, i noticed chenle's part more and more. And the new album really did justice to his vocal. His earlier part in icantfeelanything is just *supercheffkiss* still shook me to the core!

I am a newer fan of NCT Dream (been an NCTzen for awhile however), and I had someone recommend Chenle to me since I love hearing amazing vocals, since I'm a singer myself. So purely from a musical standpoint, without me knowing much of Chenle's personality or talent beforehand, I have been literally brought to tears from his outstanding performance. "I Believe" literally had me silently sobbing while he effortlessly conveyed all that emotions into his voice, absolutely well done. It takes a lot to get me to tears from listening to someone singing, and bravo to Chenle, I will be keeping my eye on his work in the future! 💚💚

Zhong Chenle singing the rose. That song brought back all my childhood memories, i remember being 8-9 idk hearing this song for the first time in elementary school and crying because it was such a beautiful song. Now i sit her 20 years later still crying because the lyrics still hit just as hard and it's sung by one of my all time favourite vocalists. Truthfully reading the title i didn't think it was going to be the song i hadn't heard in years but the moment he sang "some say love" i had to pause and take a minute because it hit me like a ton of bricks. i was transported back to being a little girl discovering life and music and emotions at that young age and that in some cases of magic they can all be intertwined. i don't know what right i had being so emotional at 8 years old but my principal and teachers introduced me to so much diverse music at that age and i truly believe it is because of them that i am able to feel this deeply in life to this day. Thank you Chenle for giving your voice to this song and allowing me to break for a moment.
