Wow! Love this! Found my way here (from Scotland) after watching the Seoul episode of Netflix's Midnight Asia series. I will definitely be listening to more from Leenalchi - I found this beautiful and quite hypnotic. It would be great if there were English subs to help understand the lyrics / story.

Came here from Netflix. This is so cool! It sounds like post-punk indie stuff from the 80’s & 90’s. Reminds me a little bit of Björk back in the day with The Sugarcubes. Very creative

I love this band aswell so much. I don't if you already k ow these bands but you may also like them Ak Dan Gwang Chil, this band similarly to leenalchi sing traditional folk songs but with a focus on more traditional instruments being used but in a more contemporary way so they end up having a very different feel. And another really amazing group called ssingssing they are also sing Korean folk songs but using modern instruments but, they present the songs in different formats using rap, reggae etc really incredible stuff.
