Excellent lyrics from 小寒... basically expounding on a tragically beautiful love story about Lin Jue Ming (one of Sun Yat Sen's fellow compatriots) and his wife, originally from the popular chinese story 《与妻诀别书》... Below are the explanation from 小寒： （男） 小屋薄窗紗 迎來了晚霞 眼看夕陽正要躺下 《與妻書》中有提到林覺民和意映兩人在小屋的歡樂情景。 因此我想像他在寫訣別書時，就算人在香港， 思緒也回到自己家中。 此刻心情如窗外應該是溫暖的風景， 可惜夕陽無限好，祇是近黃昏， 再熾熱的太陽，時候到了， 就該躺下。 比喻再熱血的心，也終有一天會“休息”。 留意這裡的“躺”。 吩咐淚莫把 墨跡都散灑 還望手帕 代我轉達 這時候的林覺民， 思緒翻滾，內疚、思念、痛心混在一起， 想起愛妻眼淚都快掉下。 祇是他必須忍著， 否則手帕上用墨水交代的事情和感情， 就被散開、模糊掉。 　 （女） 採朵小黃花 放飛入水涯 黃花崗是七十二烈士的墓碑。 當時起義失敗， 林覺民等人被關了起來， 後來壯烈犧牲。 當時同盟的潘達微收殮了72具烈士遗骸（其實是86具）， 葬在城東一個”紅花崗”。 由於黃花比紅花好聽， 紅花崗隨之被成為“黃花崗”。 起義的地方是廣州， 廣州算是中國較為靠海的地區。 因此“採朵小黃花 放飛入水涯”， 說的就是身為妻子明知道丈夫將戰死， 也要放手讓他去， 去靠近水的地方（水涯）起義。 子身原處為愛守家 放丈夫走的妻子卻將自己困鎖在原本的房子裡， 時刻守在信箱旁， 時刻守在電話旁， 等一個消息。 如詩的年華 亂世中太奢華 戀愛的年輕人心裡都是詩。 可惜這種兵荒馬亂的時候， 任何一點兒女私情都嫌太奢侈。 誰知手帕 （合）換一襲麻 從前女人都會帶著絲質手帕， 柔軟，浪漫。 林覺民偏在手帕上寫下告別的句子， 令妻子原本宛若一條絲手帕的一生， 變成一身的戴孝的麻衣。 令一個妻子為自己穿上粗麻衣， 是一件非常殘忍的事情。 （女）你莫笑我傻 （男）命運愛戲耍 妻子早已預見丈夫不會回來，卻還願意等，是傻，還是不甘心？ 丈夫卻祇能嘆生不逢時，怪命運的戲耍。 （女）你就笑我傻（男）愛裡放手才可能偉大 妻子早已預見丈夫不會回來，卻還願意讓他走， 是因為丈夫是要去做一件偉大的，有意義的事跡， 阻止他是不對的。 （女）你若笑我傻 （男）奈何誰都知曉（合）路會走到哪 妻子並不傻，她和丈夫早知道下場會怎樣。 （女）誰的手帕 雨中牽掛 手帕在這個時候代表妻子的愛與思念， 溼了又乾，乾了，就算不是用來擦自己的眼淚， 也會被雨水打濕，毫無選擇的餘地。 （男）不如設法 提早給她 （合）回答 所以丈夫為甚麼要寫訣別書， 就是要告訴妻子， 你不用等，不用猜了。 我不會回來了的。 （男） 冷風卷塵沙 吾生都有涯 寫冷風，是因為人要死了， 覺得體溫慢慢消失了， 躺在沙場上，跟灰塵一樣渺小。 “吾生有涯”就是所有的生物生命都有限。 血紅夕陽正要淌下 夕陽很多時候都是紅色的。 第一段說的是“躺”，這一段是“淌”， 因為剛才是認命，現在是淌血中。 千萬淚莫把 情意都散灑 丈夫想，就算現在很痛， 也不該哭。 淚水應該是留給愛人的， 而不是自己的痛楚。 望有手帕 撫她臉頰 在生命最後一刻， 最希望的就是有人代替自己去幫心愛的妻子拭淚。 　　 （女） 每朵小黃花 訴一朵晚霞 黃花崗中埋葬多少烈士， 就有多少家屬的愛情走入黑夜。 遠處誰在為愛守家 還有多少婦女跟曾經的自己一樣， 在傻傻地等待自己的丈夫歸來。 夢一樣年華 為何遭受懲罰 過來人在此刻就反問， 做夢不行嗎？ 想愛不好嗎？ 為甚麼好像在這個年代中， 越想愛的人， 就越痛苦？ 多少手帕 （合）換一襲麻 已有多少女人在這亂世中， 失去了摯愛。 難道，偉大的人就不能有愛情嗎？ 有愛情的人，注定做不成大事跡嗎？

Hong Dangyong is a good example of Hong Kong protest. He represents the young people who are full of passion in fighting for independence / democracy at first, but at the end, he wears himself out and become exhausted of all the chaos. The young people in HK are obviously drained and tired to continue fighting now. To conclude, breaking the law to get what you want will NEVER work.
