Mr. Rex had one of the warmest and most pleasing bass voices I have heard. He wasn't the lowest, but that doesn't matter. He was low enough. His blendability was top notch.

I think it's cool how much Rex's voice continued to deepen and darken after this video. Here, he struggled a bit with the D2, but when he sings "When God's Chariot Comes" with the Happy Goodmans 30 years later, he nails a Bb1 in full voice, and hits an F1 in "Lead Me To The Rock" with Stephen Hill.

Thanks, Dean. What a clean rendition of a song with a good message that no one does anymore. Today's church seems so caught up in "vertical" worship that we have forgotten to occasionally offer some "lateral" encouragement to each other. Galatians says that those who are spiritual should help lift up those who need it.
