Man, Suicide Blitz is basically how I always wanted a L4D city map to be like. Tons of exploration, long maps, interesting areas, etc. Mainly, because I'm not living in a city (yet), so I like city maps as they're interesting to me.

As much as I like this idea, having too much space to walk on takes away the vibe of L4D. The whole premise is to run and gun to the safehouse and to the rescue vehicle. I don’t like the feeling of being urged to finish the map while at the same time being curious as to what the map offers. At least in single player you’re okay, but online it starts being a mess because you have no idea where to go. I had the same experience with Yama with people going in circles barely making any progression.

@@Pluvillion Well, two point of views then. I feel urging people to rush to the saferoom is mainly important in versus, in campaign, I feel some exploration is better to have. I'm personally against linear maps and always wished they offered more routes to take.

I’ve already played SB2 without playing SB1 yet. Good thing I’ve only skimmed through it because the game kept crashing when loading the next map. Will definitely play SB1 first and then SB2 to get the storyline. I love maps like this - connecting both L4D and L4D2 survivors into one.

Would be funny/interesting if you made an out-of-the-ordinary video covering a single aspect of the multi Russian DDOS attacks happening currently on l4d2, particularly to do with Item/Survivor/Infected Stats being altered on the game IP’s level for EVERYONE on both PVE/PVP modes (official or local servers) solo or with other players. It’s very odd - Normal Healing’s pretty much the same if not faster as healing with adrenaline - All Weapons now have 1000 ammo reserves (noticed my weapon randomly emptying to 0) - Commons are much faster than usual - Boomers can now walk while vomiting (very buggy) - Spitters spit seem to do much more damage in a shorter amount of time - Hunters jump Significantly farther/higher/faster than default - Jockeys seemingly have faster jump ability cooldowns - Special Infected pre-spawn ghosts move a lot faster - Players who’d use both Script & Legit bhops seems to be stopped by a ‘bhop failsafe’ I’m guessing to prevent hopping

I honestly had no idea this was happening until recently, since I mostly play single player or locally host with friends.

There was a short lived, but SINGULAR Russian server for a day not too long ago that absolutely every EVERY PLAYER in l4d2 joining Versus games were intercepted at the loading screen or in lobbies anyone would make without even starting, were all forced into One server that was heavily modded & very high pinged. Strange times

Even on local servers, game stats & possibly ping are still affected. Only safe place right now for any modes is Best Available Dedicated

Godspeed whomever’s left monitoring these old Valve titles fixes/prevents these DDOS attacks in the future. These titles, despite their decades of age, go way too hard to give up on to these pathetic script kiddies

I remember on an older version of suicide blitz 2 (I’m guessing) that there was a gman speech in the theater you enter through on the screen on the second to last level. I always thought you’d have to perform certain actions within the same projection room to get it to work but I’m unsure, & there was a very dated (unfortunately removed) video in Spanish showing how to do it. I have yet to be able to see/recreate that particular Easter egg again since
