L4D is also a psychological perseverance experience. Once a dominant team is established, the weaker team will assuredly begin to call votes to restart the chapter or change the campaign. Upon making this play, the team in the lead must then counter by calling votes to change all talk in order to reduce the amount of possible votes the losing team may call. This war of attrition continues until one team loses a player and the votes are one sided, someone goes afk on the winning team and they pounce upon their chance to grief, or the vote fails but decides to go through anyway because the servers are only still running thanks to a few gerbils powering them via tiny wheels and massive stocks of an unidentified white powder as this game is from 2009.
