No weapon offset. Manual reloading janky and if the magazine didn't slide in 1st time that was it, drop the mag and start again with the reload. Not intuitive at all.

Yeah, a couple times with the reloading my weapon just dropped. Maybe it's some sort of stress mechanic to make you pace the reloads? Either way, don't like it.

However, I found that with the manual reloading option, if it didn't happen 1st time, despite still holding the magazine it was impossible without dropping and selecting another mag. At one point I could reload at all during a fight. Might be a bug, might have been my quest. A friend whom I was playing with was using the auto method so didn't experience the issue

Hey there, I have a topic of concern I would very much appreciate your feedback on ...so, the Quest2 has 120 hz. refresh capability AND a supposed 70% power boost from an algorithm that allows frames to be "synthetically drawn" and yet After the Fall looks nowhere as good as Resident Evil 4. Shouldn't every game/app. in the future look at least as good as Resident Evil 4? Consider this: the 120hz option came out in update 32 I believe and now just recently we have the additional 70% boost from ASW frame generation. So then, having 60fps. per. eye plus a 70% boost has somehow resulted in not one game looking anywhere near as good as RE4. RE4 runs at only 90hz. and does NOT use ASW. After the Fall is so bad looking, it should be called, After the Fail! SO WHERE'S THE GAMES WITH SOFTWARE UPGRADES? What do you think?

After the fall doesn't use ASW, and can have a ton of enemies all the time. The game also doesn't look bad, just not as good as RE4. Not every game is gonna look as good as RE4, as not every game has that level of funding.

They aren't using ASW with after the fall. The quest 2 version looks a little rough around the edges but the performance is really good. Very smooth with all the action hoping on. I hope they can bump up resolution and slightly better textures over time. They improved arizona sunshine so don't see why they don't here.

RE4 has strong art direction designed for lower end hardware back on the Gamecube with its texture painting heavy style. So it won't have the issue of blurry scaled back PBR that most Quest games do. Application Space warp is neat, but I don't think a completed game shipped with it yet.

Performance was terrible on my quest 2. Stuttering on pausing upon entering a room / zone and frequency freezing up for a second with enemies. Not a good 1st impression and more inclined to refund at this point in time

@@MadBrax Yeah, left a really bad 1st impression sadly. Will reinstall and ill double check the htz settings. Can also try the rift / pcvr version so will give that a go. Happy to give it another hour so as to not go over the refund window. Kinda hoped for a bit of a single player (or team) narrative campaign tbh

Wow really? My quest 2 was butter smooth... didn't wow me with the looks though. I hope they squeeze the quest 2 more over time. The game just lacks content.

@@Adam-mo2qw Yeah, beginning to think something went wrong with the installation? Only have 3.xgb space free, but wouldn't imagine it was that. All that aside, the clunky lobby, poor crafting and like you say, what will be repeat replays to get more crafting items. Going to try tonight on pc version, but gut reaction is to refund. I'd rather wait for all these upcoming modding hero's to add vr support for the Res Evil remakes / Bioshock etc. Honestly gutted given how long it was in development. Feels just as basic as Arazona. If it'd had random / roguelike maps / lvls that might have been something to keep you coming back. Possibly being too harsh, as mileage obviously varies

@@stuartburns8657 I just requested a refund. Not enough content for me just yet. I don't have pcvr yet either and the KZbinrs seems to all be playing on that now. I might pick it up when I get pcvr as it looks awesome on that. I will stick with RE4VR for now.
