Go get it checked by an E.N. T DOCTOR. I developed a knot on my neck one day woke up and the knot was still there but my whole neck and face was also swollen. Admitted in the hospital overnight they couldn't figure it out until the specialist came in...well long story short I had several nodules on my left thyroid so it had to be removed and I'm fine now.
