This is what banks hold on their books to appear to have value while wasting the valuable asset by leaving it empty. The State should condemn it and turn it into State offices and a jail.

This is would we an ideal government purchase for a homeless shelter. This way the government can house and collect the monthly checks they gamble away.

Local government should condemn this for public parking and a senior center.

I was a contractor/builder before I retired. I know how much work goes into these buildings. It's sad to see them just abandoned. Meanwhile 600,000 Americans have no place to call home. Crazy.

I love, hate and crave videos like this. There is just something off about standing in an abandoned place that used to be full of life and dreams. Small businesses and kiosks risking their futures on dreams that end too soon, teens going on first dates, kids getting new clothes for school are all ghosts of a happier past. You almost get sucked in these places by nostalgia and curiosity.

Wow. It's another dying mall, man, malls is becoming obsolete because of online shopping. Back in the day you used can go to the mall to see your friends, go shopping, eat at the food court and then go to the movies it's sad to see it go. It's a lot of memories. 😢

The population of this town is under 10,000! 3+ miles away from State Capitol.

They should send all the homeless from CA there and create a vibrant city.

I am not suprised. A lot of malls are dying, and the fact that the center is owned by Moonbeam Capital Investments, the company has failed several other malls too including Shoppingtown, Gwinnett Place, and Century III. Moonbeam Capital Investments is known as one of the worst mall slumlords out there. Other slumlords in the mall industry include Kohan, Namdar, CBL, and others.
