This is a pretty stitch, but as usual, this beginner needs help lol. I'm trying a sample to get the hang of it, started with a chain of 12, but after the first row, I keep ending up with 11 stitches. Not sure if I'm missing something or if you're supposed to have one less? I've done it 5 times lol. Nothing mentioned in the video, I'm sure it me lol

It's normal to end up with a different amount of stitches after your first row as the foundation chain takes into account the number needed for the pattern, plus extra for turning 😊 As you begin your first stitch into the second chain from the hook, this gives you one less overall.

To continue with the pattern you need to keep repeating rows 2 and 3. Once you have reached your desired size you can cut your yarn and sew in your ends 😊
