@saimcheeda93 The problem stems from how original ideas and content made by black creators constantly get looked over for large sums of money or accolades. Yet, the mainstream will take the exact same premise and story elements, eliminate the black faces, and suddenly, it's a nationwide hit. It's irritating to see it happen over and over in so many areas. From song composers to movie script writers when will POC creators have their true value recognized too?

You're just making yourself even more bitter. And it's not like you came up with the idea for Living Single that you feel so personally insulted by this. I'm pretty sure the Friends creators didn't sit around thinking they were going to eliminate black people when they made the show either If nothing else, it's smarter to go write about your grievances in a Living Single video where you actually have a chance of getting support. @saimcheeda93 First, I could care less about getting support from Friends fans. But I'm not going to stand by and pretend that BIPOC creators haven't been robbed for decades. If no one ever brings up the issue any and everywhere, people will continue living in their bubbles and never have to think about the reality behind what they consume. BIPOC creators deserve to be recognized for what they created, whether people want to acknowledge it or not.

It's not like they're not attending. They're invited to the wedding as Phoebe's guests. But she can't make them bridesmaids and Mike has his own friends to be groomsmen. They have no part to play, really. If Phoebe's dad had been able to attend then Joey would have been in the same position as well

When I got married, it was a two full days of partying and fun. This was in Skartaris, so really time is irrelevant. We man and I went crazy on the planning. So much food, fun and frenzy. My mom and dad came back from the dead to attend and my grandson hopped back in time to give me away.
