This is seriously top notch music. They cover multiple hard genres, and they do a DAMNED good job of it. Then they switch to something entirely different, but its no less intense, emotion-filled, or on point. This really is a great band. I mean, it really, really, really is.

Jeffrey Canzani "Pop punk"? Lol LoC is punk with a mix of ska and some metal and crust influence (or simply put: Crack Rock Steady). Nothing close to pop punk, especially when you factor in lyrics, song meaning, and the more crusty riffs you hear.

@mba100 The song is referring to the MOVE organization. Specifically the 1978 standoff that led to one dead cop and 9 Move members being falsely imprisoned for it and the 1985 bombing of the MOVE headquarters by the police killing 11 innocents including children as they tried to escape. 8 of the 9 Move members from the 78 standoff are still in prison, the 9th has died. No one has ever been brought to justice over the slaughter of the 11 MOVE members in 1985. ONA MOVE!!!!!!!

People like to have everything packaged into nice neat categories. It's human nature. Also, if you hear something new and want to hear more stuff like it you would then know what genre/subgenre to look for. I agree that it's annoying when people argue over seemingly insignificant details but there is a purpose behind it. Now you know.

@minustrouserpants I have done enough research, and at the shoot-out in 1978 one MOVE member (supposedly) shot at a police officer. But in 1985 the only people who were shooting were police officers, and they were also the ones who shot firefighters NOT the MOVE members. And even IF they shot back, can you blame them when a bomb was dropped on their house and they were already being shot at.
