Nah that is stamina. Defense is more popular with counter attacking so maybe just add a bit of shape in the layer to make it more "aggressive"...you know what I mean by "aggressive". Or maybe,the bey is so heavy that anything that hits it will just be banished to the shadow realm. If it is,then there is no use of making it less circular.

My stupid idea is a beyblade that has one or more parachutes on the layer so it can fall slower onto the stadium and preserve stamina. And then use the cloth as a barrier gimmick once on stage. Feel free to choose whichever number of parachutes is the easiest to implement so long as it's still at a functional size

It might be neat to put the giant sword on a slide like from a drawer, and have a spring to pull back with tension. The faster it's spinning the farther out it would extend, then as it loses speed it pulls back in becoming more stable.

Okay here's my idea. Basically how but a special driver and special middle layer a special middle layer has armor that is bigger than the normal bay like the normal top layer.
