Rode my first laps here yesterday with some friends and this place is MEGA. Some of the features here are insane. The gopro effect is acting HEAVY on this one.

Hey nate if you're riding in this area when its a bit warmer you gotta hit up Curt Gowdy. Not to far north of Fort Collins into wyoming. Covered in snow right now and you might blow away, but a blast in the warmer months.

Locals are very protective of this area as its not ridden that much. Its not most peoples idea of good mountain biking. These trails are open and public and fine to talk about on the internet. Unsanctioned trails are a different story and you won't find those on my channel. In other parts of the world, people are excited to show the trails. Due to Colorado land management, people try to keep public trails secret. It's a sad state.
@chasingepic6 жыл бұрын
Hey Derek, hit me up and I'll show you around up there. It's the most fun terrain on the Front Range, it's hard to believe you're so close to Boulder. Good thing it's FS land and not Boulder County-controlled.

There are plenty of homogenized smooth flow trails to ride in the front range. These are not those trails. The rougher the better, that's what makes them fun.

PSA for everyone that thinks this is one long epic down hill. It’s not. Nate has cut out lots of brutal climbing that is needed to get to this. It’s a bit of a misrepresentation imo. Stoke factor is high, but an accurate representation it is not.
@natehills93886 жыл бұрын
No one wants to watch climbing amigo. I prefer to share the fun parts, sorry my representation didn't live up to your expectations.
@Roaming506 жыл бұрын
Well you don't need to show the whole uphill... But a 3-5 second cut of the climb breaking up the downhill segments, will help the downhill bros realize there's some work to earn those downs...

Too bad we can't shuttle this. I'm a downhill bro.

Says the slowest youtuber on the front range. No need to shit on someone who's a sick rider and has a great following. I'm sure people look at a map before they ride and check the elevation. No one plans their rides based on youtube videos. Keep up the sick videos Nate!
@Roaming506 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Gruen Hardly the slowest.. but I’m not shitting on Nate, just pointing out that peeps heading there for sustained downhills may be in for a surprise. There’s already some plebs fucking up the trails at LHOHV by illegally reworking them. We don’t need more idiots going there.
