Sky News host Rita Panahi has slammed a “lefty Karen” filmed screaming abuse at a man and telling him to go where he came from.
The man attended a protest at Richmond City Hall ahead of a meeting to vote on the possibility of a supervised consumption site at Richmond General Hospital Precinct.
A woman repeatedly screamed at the man saying, “you don’t belong here” before telling him to “go back to Hong Kong”.
She also told the man that he was “what’s wrong with Canada” and called him “corrupt”.
“The left are everything they claim to hate, they're invariably intolerant, racist, reality-denying bigots,” Ms Panahi said.

I'm glad no humans were injured, and driverless cars are intended to deprive us of our own cars, so I don't mind its destruction at all. I doubt it was an EV though, those are super-dangerous: once they've burst into flames they're near impossible to put out, and they belch toxic fumes so firefighters have to wear hazmat suits. That car was easily extinguished. A human driver would never have gone near the center of Chinatown on the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year, but driverless cars don't think!

Doesn’t excuse the disgusting behaviour but there is some context behind the burning of the driverless car. This was in China Town on Chinese Near Year, the streets get taken over by people celebrating, private cars and taxi drivers know to avoid the area at this one time of the year, but the ‘AI’ logic of the driverless taxi doesn’t and it tried to force its way though the crowds. Doesn’t excuse the actions of the crowd but it does highlight a problem with driverless cars.

I’m from where this took place and you’ve got to hand it to these Chinese , they’re not accepting that their streets will be filled with junkies. The drug epidemic is out of control in Canada. They see how filthy other neighbourhood have become .

They've already seen it happen- look at what happened to east Hastings and Chinatown. And now they're bringing the same people down to Richmond where before they have mostly not gone down. Where I am (by Minoru), after they set up a temp modular housing unit, I've gotten my bicycles stolen, my whole family's been verbally assaulted with racist slurs, had my sleep disrupted most nights from fighting and screaming at 1-4am outside, had my packages and food stolen. The police are also there 5 nights out of 7 every week at the very least.
