I do hope she faces the same allegations made in Israel and the West Bank while she was there, enjoying the freedoms afforded to her by the Israeli Government - And thanks so much for bringing attention to this very serious issue. All I would recommend is to fight and push back as hard as possible for things like digital ids and a cashless society. Pay people in cash remove money from banks. That is pretty much all we can do.

In my former work, I had to attend many different conferences and forums. It was policy at my employer that we did not talk about who we are, what we do or who we work for, except within the actual venues and we were never to talk to any member of the media at these conferences. Nothing nefarious or shameful - There were sometimes violent protests outside some conferences and the "activists" had targeted attendees before, so we could not talk to people about what we do etc. for security and safety reasons. The media ban was just because we had previously had an employee make a statement which the company did not support - so rather than risking untrained people talking to the media, we just weren't allowed to. These protests were at military/defence/weapons conferences - All my company did was logistics support and training for the military. I would have been fired for telling that. All that being said, this guy seems off. I wouldn't trust him - especially around children.
