I REALLY dont understand how people cant grasp their heads around how people with ADHD DONT WANT OVERSTIMULATING ASMRS AND STIMBOARDS. Its annoying as someone with ADHD how every ASMR or stimboard is so overwhelming and stressful ://

The worst part is they can actually be a useful tool for SOME people with adhd (and completely useless for others because adhd can present in many ways and we aren’t a monolith) because like some of us often get UNDERstimulated and those asmrs and stimboards and stuff actually help with that. Plus they help some ppl with adhd regulate their emotions etc. But instead, this sort of overstimulating stuff has become a stereotype of adhd and it’s what neurotypicals associate us with, even though a lot of us don’t like stimboards or anything like that, which is really annoying and causes a lot of misinformation. And then you end up with NEUROTYPICAL people joking that they’re “so adhdcore” because they like listening to asmr. Like no it’s an actual disability not some quirky trend and you can’t call something your “aesthetic” when it’s meant to be a tool to help people

at least in america, communism and the hammer and sickle symbol has had a bad rap for the longest time, to the point where there are people who would believe in communism and the ideas behind it and yet if you use the big c-word you get all sorts of people coming out of the woodwork to say "but russia" or "but china." Just because of the name. Even in a college class, the professor was talking about how they didnt like capitalism and was saying something like (paraphrasing) "there needs to be a new system and we could call it communitarianism," and then she pretty much describes communism to a t. because of the anticommunist rhetoric seen from both "sides" of the aisle, like the stuff about how you'll own nothing, not even a toothbrush (which would be personal property, which wouldn't be taken from you if anyone's curious) or that it's unrealistic and would never work, socialism seems like an enticing middle ground approach that attracts those from the democratic party who think communism is too far. not all socialists are leftists, but they end up in these spaces because of their disdain for capitalism. in the end, many new socialists who came from the democratic party would choose fascism because A. it's what they are familiar and comfortable with, even if they don't know it or try not to show it and B. we are tribal sorts of creatures who make generalizations about those who are not like us, no matter what sort of "us" you belong to, so to become what would be the "them" in an "us vs. them" situation requires a lot of work on yourself and your community, (maybe even losing some friends or family) that these socialists just don't want to do. tl;dr, socialists just want to grill, man /ref

I got to make some bracelets the other day so I made a few pride bracelets and a gravity falls themed bracelet. I made it red and gold like the journals with the words "trust no one" on it and used one black and two white beads to make a little eye on the back and I'm really happy with how it turned out :3 I also made a picture of bill out of seashells on the beach and it was really fun

EEHEHEHEHE in so wxcited to be wroking with scott Turns ojt he didnt graduate last year because he djdnt have enough hours, but this year he gets to be qith us to get that up so he can hopefully graduate in december! he also will always ask for our permission if he wants to share a session in his classes, and if we say no, he'll respect that and be vague about how the session went in his classes I love scott man he's so sweet :) im so wxcited to work with him in counseling this year - 💚🦑
