My mother, siblings, and I migrated to America legally while my dad busted his ass off to make us all an American citizen. So when I hear my peers around me saying they don’t agree with this whole mass deportation thing and then completely ignoring how much it’s costing us, I get absolutely livid. What about the people who made sacrifices and busted their asses off to become legal citizens, what was all of it for if these ILLEGAL immigrants are free to stay here and get all these benefits without ever working for it? My mother was a Japanese immigrant who was born in 1941 during WW2. She took a lot of hell when she immigrated to the U.S. in 1959. But, she came here LEGALLY, she never took a penny of taxpayer money in handouts, and she never broke one law up to the day she passed 11 years ago.
