Once upon a time there was a leftover string that looked at me sadly from the basket. I took it and turned it into a colorful wallet!
Rhymes aside, I LOVE finding a way to use up to the last meter of yarn and when I saw the pink cord the light bulb went on! It would have become a small wallet / document holder to show off in the summer! And since I love colorful and very decorated things, I added some patches that have been around the house for a while to make it special and unique!
Simple to work with, made entirely at a low point, it lends itself to being used, for example, as a year-end gift for teachers.
To make it you need:
- about 50 gr of lanyard
- crochet number 3.5
- wool needle
- magnetic button
- colored iron-on patches
- scissors
- lighter (to fix the wires)
So what are you waiting for? Heat the crochet hooks and let your imagination run free! Make a lot of them, that one leads to another, and there will always be someone to give it to who will appreciate the gift!
