Hawkshaw deserves to be in Hall of Fame for his singing, but also his Military service at "THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE" WHAT a hero Hawkshaw was. I know the plane crash was fast & furious, but I can just see our hero trying to help. He was just made that way. I will never forget him. Bless his sons today. They have someone to be so proud of.

@tombstonesandtravel8805 have another one for you: "the Texas Troubador" Ernest Tubb and his wife are buried in Hermitage Memorial Gardens, located on Shute Rd, between Hermitage and Mt Juliet off Lebanon Pk, aka US Hwy 70...(always thought he was buried in Texas; turns out it was in the Nashville area !). Tubb had introduced Loretta Lynn on the Grand Old Opry (her 1st appearance, l believe, and Loretta has named one of her sons after him)

Randy Hughes was born in Gumm, Tennessee. This is near Murfreesboro. Gumm is named after Judy Garland's family. Her birth name was FRANCES ETHEL GUMM.

Randy was a cousin of mine. His Mother was a Jacob's before marrying Mr. Hughes. My grandmother was a Jacob's. His parents used to visit me after the tragedy. They were totally destroyed after this. Their only child. He married Cathy Copas, yes daughter of Cowboy Copas. They had a son. The elderly Hughes's enjoyed their grandson. ❤

Judy baker. Was my aunt . She was born raised in near Johnstown pa. She lived on benchoff hill . She moved to Tennessee she had 2 brothers georgie and paul . Ive was very very young and have very little memories of her . Her and lefy came to my parents house and sang with my dad i only heard tapes Of this. I wasnt born till 1982 . Judy had a son i believe that still alive . Also judy was a nurse i could possibly get pictures of her mys sister would have some some where i think she inherited the old family picture albums .

Grand Old Opry star & HeeHaw castmember Stringbean and his wife Estelle, both victims of a brutal 1973 home invasion/murder, are also buried at Forest Lawn, close by l believe, in the Music Row section...

@@waistgunner3930 Yes, Stringbean and his wife are resting in the Music Row Section. I did a separate video on them and some of the other star that are resting here. Bashful Brother Oswald is buried just across from Music Row. Lonzo and Oscar, Mack MaGaha, and Little Roy Wiggins are also resting here.

Very good channel! From what I understand patsy's body was the only one they found at that crash site that was actually semi-intact? I hear it was really bad....👍👍👍

Yes, In an earlier video I visited the crash site near Camden Tennessee. After my visit I stopped for a drink in Camden and was talking to a local who seem to be Knowledgeable about the crash and he more or less told me the same thing.
