Ok crtital guys @phillinthesouth, this is not a load... for many like me that sail a lot it is very intersting, and besides the sailing we get to see some local scenery, if you do not like it , do not watch! and Jake, don't like the sponsorships, you put up the money for a team!! there are other great sailing area although Aucklad is one of the best, behind San Francisco ;-).

Well said. I imagine it's like golf---if you don't play it or otherwise "get it," then you aren't likely to enjoy watching and studying it (and I hate it!). Or like air racing--if you're a pilot, you appreciate what's going on so much more intensely...but even laypeople can enjoy it. Anyhow...I love it. Safe seas, all!

What is up with the audio for this and the in port race? It is all muffled?
@jackever9 жыл бұрын
Richard you must have an issue with your equipment of your internet connection. Both feeds had clear audion for me in my TIVO and my laptop.

A lot of the audio is captured on the small RIB's that chase around the VO65 whilst they sail around the course so the wind rushing by the microphones, that's what causes the muffling
@jackever9 жыл бұрын
Shamus as I said it was Not muffled. The problem is with the hearer or their equipment.

The Statue is not a Buddah it is Guanyin, see wikipedia. It is at a Buddist temple, but not him...just call it Genny ;-) if you cannot pronounce Guanyin.

It's nice to be done with the sponsorship sucking up stops. Back to real sailing country, Auckland!
@shamusmcmillin9 жыл бұрын
It was better when they had two massive southern ocean legs Cape Town to Sydney (But Auckland would be a better stop). Then Sydney or Auckland (Which ever one you prefer) to Brazil.
