What about 2cm for achild of 9 year .should we operate for this or wait to grow for six months to see diffrence

How about the difference of 1.27 cm (half an inch) for a 5-year-old kid? Do we need surgery or wait until grow into adults?

Wait. Many ways to deal with it. The paeditric orthos can equalise limb lengths. Keep seeing if discrepancy increases. Contact me if it does

My right hip feels tight. My right leg has become shorter because of that. I feel tightness in back of my hips. When i do pigeon strech, it get better for 15 minutes, but after sometime it get back to how it was before ( tight and short). My shoulder tilted towards right, where i have shorter leg. And i feel pain in a nerve in my right leg as well. I don't know what to do. Please help

Ilizarov surgery is a russian tech ique which can be used for this. I dont know if cosmetic lengthening is legal in india. Discuss with your orthopaedic surgeon.
