I don’t think I could ever give up this show because it’s so idk light? It’s very much not like Tvd or To and kinda like it that way. I get distracted a lot so the different monster every episode kinda works for me. Plus, I don’t have to think much. Plot smot, give me that friendship wholesomeness. Also, I think it would be weird if it were more like Tvd and To because I kinda see the characters in legacies like my children. Like if Hope were real she’d be like 10. In conclusion, I do it for girls and the gays that’s it.

People tend to complain that legacies is too childish compared to its predecessors and yes, it might be the case, but I personally think it's nice to have different vibes on this show. However my biggest issue this season is that the writers low key forgot what their characters are like. Out of character behavior, people not caring about friendships that have been developed over the first 2 seasons, repetitive storylines - it really just feels like these 10 episodes could have been cramped into like 4.

@@PattyBab oh yeah 100%. I was done with Landon when he first left in episode 3 and Hope is now...well yk. I hope people are right with their theories about Puck somehow making her obsessed with him. Though I do think it’s been a long time coming that she saves Landon, putting other in danger because they’ve been hinting at it since season 2. But what I thought was weird was how she didn’t regret it afterwards and that all the conflicts were fixed in one episode.

Okay I'm early today I know I know... Anyways here I go again... This episode was very... WTF but okay, we're used to it. So i was confused by Jonch/fosie because first they give us cute vibes but then josie keeps playing the inferior position and screwing up like just no. Anyways sad because the lack of hosie interaction is awful, but the HIZZIE content omg. Methan will be canon believe me. They're so freaking cute damn. Just sorry for Lizzie cause one of her crushes likes Ethan and the other likes her sister... Well anyways, Cleo was a queen as usual, just slaying it. For those who have seen the trailer of next episode, I wonder if dark josie returning might bring some familiar faces back... (Y'all know what I'm talking about?). Plus, is a great way to kill off Alyssa Chang (again) cause Olivia Liang, who plays her, got a lead role in Cws Kung Fu, so i don't know if they're gonna kill her again. But wait, i have a theory that Josie is gonna be trapped in her mind again and guess who'll rescue her? HOPE because Hosie will happen i will not lose my faith even though is getting harder and i will only ship Jonch the moment they stop being so cringe, like in 3x07 when josie was talking to Finch her face wasn't romantic it was something almost agressive, i wonder where the hell is the chemistry, come on writers, you can do better than this (at least I hope so...), right? Finch as a werewolf was no surprise, i think Ethan is also a werewolf who hasn't transitioned yet. The episode was as good as usual, which means not good, but I'll still watch it because I can't stop torturing myself with this. Anyways that's all.

It's weird how Josie's relationships keep failing like this. Her and Penelope broke up, her and Raf fizzled out before anything started, Hope came back and smashed Josie and Landon's relationship (which is a shame because that's the only time a Landon paring made sense to me), Jade dipped out in a weird way, and now Finch is just "complicated" (she's a werewolf but Josie doesn't know it yet). I mean, yaah I know teenagers, but like the writers won't let her catch a break. How are Hope and Landon the only semi-functioning (and I mean this very loosely) couple on this show? Also, Ethan and MG are super cute. If you showed them to anyone out of context everyone would assume that they're dating. That being said, if MG were ever to be made bi I'd say he should be paired up with Kaleb first (sorry Jed-Kaleb and sorry Cleo-Kaleb shippers, but deep down you know it's true). Honestly, Cleo already seemed like she was too good for everyone on this show, but it's basically confirmed now that we know she's a muse.

I understand why she lied. There are a bunch of reasons and I don’t think it messes with her character development (which is the only good thing about this season). First off she wants to protect Josie, she almost got killed by Finch and probably doesn’t want Josie at risk like that. Second off Josie is all about starting over away from the supernatural world and Lizzie accepts and supports that. She doesn’t want to burst Josie’s bubble and tell her that her crush is supernatural, because it will be a huge setback for Josie. Third point might totally be that she doesn’t like Finch and that’s why she lied. Another point could be that she hopes Josie will come home once she no longer has anything (except for maybe ethan and mg) keeping her at mystic falls high. those are just the thoughts at the top of my head . there’s probably even more. 🤗

@@PattyBab Yeah, i mean your last two reason are super selfish of Lizzie and DO kinda retract the growth she's had over the last 2 and a half season. Your first point makes sense tho. As for the second, Josie just has a crush on her (she barely knows her so there's no way the feelings are THAT strong or even close to love). If she truly truly liked Finch, she would be completely fine with her being a werewolf and would probably help her with the full moons and stuff (Finch obvi doesn't know much cuz she ran away from her family and was trying to tie herself down at school of ALL places..??) If she wasn't okay with dating another supernatural person, she would have accepted that she and finch aren't meant to be together, been sad for a bit and then moved on... Now, however, she's feeling the sting of unrequited love (even tho it is v much requited), hating herself for waiting "too long" (even tho its been like 3 weeks tops), feeling mortified/embarrassed about that speech AND guilty for lying to Filch about a massive part of herself this whole time... This plotline makes ZERO sense to me. We're going to initiate her into the squad eventually anyways...ALSO YTF was MG acting like he had no idea what to do with her (and they just left her body in some basement lol what the heck?!) when he should take her to Salvatore so she learns abt her history is with other Super kids...

While they're definitely selfish and in conflict with her character development they're deep down still very Lizzie-like (imo) and I personally wouldn't see it as a setback if she were to have them as her motivation. I am pretty sure the writes will not make it about these two reasons in the end. As for the other point, maybe I didn't word it appropriately. I don't think Josie would stop liking Finch if she found out, I think she would still like her, but at the same time feel like she can't be normal. (that is the point, she isn't normal/human and I honestly think the only purpose of the Finch x Josie storyline is, so that Josie realizes that she can't run from her roots and "destiny") What also irks me about the whole Finch/Josie plot in general is the way it's written. They have what? like 10 minutes worth of screen time together? Yet they spend most of that time having conversations that don't make sense to me (like Josie asking her out after making this huge speech). It feels rushed, like how is Josie supposed to already feel this way if they barely hangout onscreen. It just really irks me. It's what makes this whole wolf plot even harder. If they were kissing or at least really dating, Josie would totally help Finch and support her, even after the wolf reveal. But since they barely are a thing, it might just fall apart. She doesn't know yet, so we can only guess what her reaction would look like. Lizzie didn't tell her, because Lizzie has her own motivations and is trying to do what she thinks is the best for her sister in this situation. I really don't think Josie would reject someone for being supernatural, she is supernatural herself, but I do think she would feel a little disappointed that her whole life somehow comes back to being supernatural. sorry I'm not native and I'm having trouble putting my exact thoughts into words. She would totally accept Finch and might still pursue her. The writers are just not doing it for me this season, you're saying exactly what bothers me. It's been such a short amount of time and Josie is left in this weird situation. I'm not sure if Finch is supposed to stay. The actress is just a guest star I think. I'm guessing they might write her off soon and not initiate her into the squad. That's probably why MG hasn't taken her to the school. I'm not sure if she would even wanna go there, they can't force her to attend and she is a loner, "I can take care of myself" type. I can totally see her ditching the school if she even gets invited. There are a lot of theories going around and some make sense and kinda shine light on the Josie plot. Maybe she's throwing herself into this crush, because she's desperately trying to get over another....aka Hope?

I kind of hope Finch stays for a while tho, Josie repeatedly dealing with a broken heart is getting kind of annoying. Although, thats mostly because she hasn't actually even been allowed to date anyone (Penelope was a past relationship that was honestly, not super healthy...then Landon and her were filling their Hope void and Rafael deadass FORGOT about her in the next episode(s)!!!) They really just need to make HOSIE happen by next season...this show is just trash at this point.
