I just think it's cool that Hasbro did a brand new version of the original Optimus Prime mold and I think this little not known outside of Japan diaclone toy truck ended up stateside becoming an actual character and the toy hasn't left the collective consciousness for 40 years As for this toy yes it could be bigger but I actually like the size as this will be perfect for my computer desk

Studio series Optimus Prime would be great with G1 bumblebee. For size comparison. And the rest should be equal for the mini box and that's how I want to compare all my Transformers as.

First and foremost I am a Teansformers fan, I grew up with them since they came out in the 80's. But, I also think they are starting to become to Pokémon'ish. How many G1 Primes are there again? I lost track after about the 50th one or so.

Man, G1 Optimus fans have been absolutely *feasting* this year: Missing Link, this, SS86, 40th Anniversary Retro reissue, and if you're like me and consider him Powermaster Optimus, MPG Ginrai. I think my G1 Optimus needs are settled for forever, personally. Even thought I got both ML Primes I still want this one just as a little desk bot friend. Funny enough I think the Earthrise Prime trailer scales better with him than it does ER Prime.
