Great to see this coming back, but I believe Crystal Dynamics could have done better with Lighting and Occlusion to take advantage of the game's excellent ambience

Hoping ps6 with full remake. They could make this setting, combat, XP, abilities so incredible in this series. I just played the original 3 this month and then this was announced... what a coincidence.

@@SamuelBlack84 True, but the original Soul Reaver had a lot of content that was cut because of time. Lots of conversations with Ariel that were recorded but didn't get into the game, for instance. Haven't a clue what the state of that is, but this would be the time to do it. Besides, Simon Templeman, Michael Bell, and Anna Gunn are still active, so who knows :)

@SterfGoogle I watched an interview with both actors who said they would happily reprise their roles Michael Bell is especially getting old, but the scenes are pretty short I really hope that the remaster includes all cut content in some way from the vampire priestess to Turel's territory I've always wanted to play those parts Regardless, it will be awesome

This was my childhood game. If they did a remake insted of a remaster, this would be one of the best games out there. Still, a special place in my heart for Cain.
