I really appreciate all your LOK movies, I'm also fan of RE so I should check. I'm a french fan since 1996 with BOI thanks to my brother. I'm glad you also added deleted contents I wish you could have placed the chess game in Vorador's mansion and the priestress and Turel from SR1, on the website the lost worlds or even on Raina Audron offered all of these cut contents. Apart this, it's really beautifully made and great to get subs even for BOI and SRI

Hmm, didn't know about chess game or priestess. Thanks for that. But as I see, they wouldn't fit into the movie format anyway. In chess game there is not much logic. Priestess were deleted along with Undercity and temple areas, so nowhere to place her. And her dark gift... We've never seen it again anyway. And Turel... Now it is canon that Raziel never met him in SR1

@@Coldshade I agree with what you've said I love the addition of the two vampires in SR2 that's why I was thinking perhaps you could included others deleted contents. For the chess mate of Vorador it's before the scene in his dining room so that would have been easy to place. As for Turel we just get the beginning of the conversation and not his death. And yes I know Azimuth summoned him in Avernus. For the priestess just the fight and lines. Anyways all your LOK vids are so amazing thanks a lot

Man, good job on this. I really miss this game lol. I still have the discs but not the systems anymore, and emulators always are finicky on my retroid pocket 3. Great job on the editing, this game really is a slog to get to the good parts, and a lot of backtracking. I used to play this all the time when I was little, haha, I think it took me like a year to beat the first one. Anyways man good job and thanks for putting it out, this is awesome.

The gameplay may be mediocre and a few gaps in the story that didnt merge well with omen 2, but the story grips me to introspection even to this day. Tempted to get a tattoo in honor of this one as a reminder.. kain, raziel, the reaver, and a spinning coin amidst the pilars.

The voice actors in the last 3 Soule Reaver games have theatre background. That said, even if half the main cast were still alive.. Hypothetically instead of a remaster, they were to try a remake/envisioning with Amy Hennig consulting.. I would hope they look for voice talent that has acting or even theatre experience. One critical thing studios forget these days is either voice direction/context, or voice actors who may have a voice, but cannot "act" when delivering dialogue.. or possibly fail to meet both previous points which really destroys player immersion. That said, who would you pick to replace half the main voice cast that sadly have died? Tony Jay as Elder God, Richard Doyle as Moebius, or Rene Auberjonois as Janos, and the few others? Simon (Raziel) and Michael (Kain) are still alive, but wouldn't sound the same. Michael, even in his mid 80's could pass as "old" Kain voice but Raziel and others recast choice...?

"Monumental decision" references the decision he made in Blood Omen 1, which is what allowed him to survive and create Raziel, setting into motion all his other plans. "Petty actions" refers to his and Raziel's attempts at altering history, all of which so far (by that point in the story) haven't produced any significant results for returning the Pillars to vampire guardianship.

Yes, I did change textures, but now I can't use them properly, don't remember why. I can upload all hi-res textures, but then you'll have to create texture pack through Texmod all by yourself. But before that you'll have to rip textures through Texmod from the game (PC Steam ver btw), because some textures changed their hex names.

Thanks for the feedback. I love experiments, and when them not tied directly with lore, it of course is the coin with two sides. For me this track emotionally emphasizes Raziel's condition, his mood, and I personally like the result)) Glad you liked the other stuff

great story, terrible games. So bad at game design she calls darkness an element and no matter what game after the original, they all do the same crap. fire, aoe. darkness, aoe, lightning, aoe.. and of course.. baby puzzles. what you get when a non gamer gets put in charge of a project, hence why the ending and final game were basically just story cleanup on rails. BO2 played more like a game but the story was nonsensical, and characters were just shallow and annoying copies.
