There's a secret intro for him, actually. If you enter the Spectral Realm before taking out the stakes, his soul will talk to Raziel and asked him if we came to free his soul. Raziel answers that he came to claim it. The fight is very similar than the normal one, except you can't defeat him and its basically immortal in the Spectral Realm (since you can't interact with things, you can't kill him). Your only chance is to escape as fast as you can to the conduit close to his body and fight him like in this video. The game does not change nor the next cutscene is modified because of this little secret.

I remember when I consumed his soul ..got stuck and couldn't figure out what to do it with for 2 years ..I gave up ..then I gave my brother the controller to try and my brother doesn't play games like that at all lol and accidentally he was running in circles around the statue ..and he done it..I'm like wtf? So Dumah -- the strongest vampire Raziel ever faced -- who's invulnerable to the effects of common weaponry and even the effects of the Soul Reaver, can only be killed by incineration and yet he was put down by a few stakes centuries earlier...WHAT?!

it was Dumas own arrogance that brought the downfall of his clan believing themselves invisible Dumas and his offspring failed to see an attack and they were taken by surprise by the human vampire hunters allowing them to decimate their ranks with little resistance the few that escaped are reduced to scavengers

Nope, the strongest vapire raziel meets was Turel, he evolved even beyond all their brothers and gain great power, Turel is only surpassed by kain or raziel, dumah was just... An giant unbrained idiot.

Every vampire has his weakness, look at Rahab, he was invulnerable to water and the others not, but was extremelt weak against light and the others not so much. And btw, every single vampire is weak against stakes impalment.

I got a question there's a door that won't open and i don't know what to do i tried everything to open the door..... is there a switch to the door that lets me burn him i need help please......

you somehow got ot dumah in the material realm befre having to go ot the furnace(implying you probaly cheated with " shift at will") you are supposed to as you eplored the ruined city to encouter the furnace room and activate it which will blast the door down, after you need to take the door that leadsyou the climbing section to lower the moving bridge oinly after that its possible to get to dumah's chamber in the material realm(since you need ot drop the pillar on the last gate)
