What solo game would you recommend to others? We would love to hear your suggestions!

Spirit Island for a heavy game, Viticulture for a medium-weight game, and Tiny Towns for a lighter game. I also really love Wingspan solo.

Thanks for the tutorial and review! I just got my retail copy after watching numerous KZbin reviews and a few tutorials. Thanks for your straight forward opinion that this is a challenging game. That’s what I thought after watching the videos. I hope to begin the game play tomorrow. It does have many game mechanics that I really enjoy so hopefully I won’t be too afraid of defeat. So cool that this is specifically designed for solo play.

All such incredible games!

Thanks guys! I just backed this and I’m looking forward to playing it. As for other solo games, my favourites lately have been Kanban EV and Anachrony. Both are well-known multi-player games but have excellent solo modes.

Ooooo I haven’t tried the solo mode in Kanban EV and absolutely adore that game! Can’t wait to check it out! Thank you Mike!

I've really gotten into solo gaming this past year and am loving it! I tend to gravitate towards meatier roll and writes like Three Sisters/Fleet, Dinosaur island rawr n Write, and Hadrian's wall. Also loving dice games like Under falling skies and fantastic factories. And I absolutely love the solo modes for Ark Nova, TM:Ares Expedition, Viticulture, Wingspan, PARKS....there are so many great solo games out there! This one has certainly piqued my interest, thanks for the video!

Thanks for watching Andrew! Have you done the solo campaign for Hadrian's Wall? I've (Ilya) been loving it so far!
@andrewwagner34622 жыл бұрын
@@kovray I haven't yet! I only borrowed a copy from a friend, played it 6-7 times and loved it. I plan on getting a copy from 401 Games at some point this fall, specifically for the solo campaign!

Thanks for the video! (Catching up.) · This was on my radar when it was first announced earlier this year. With similar art styles to Hadrian's Wall and Raiders of Scythia. Probably will wait until it hits retail to give it a go. Definitely feels like a high-end, difficult solo game. · Other solo games or solo modes that I like (not counting roll-and-writes obviously): Friday, Fire!, Orchard, Caverna: Cave vs Cave, Herbaceous, Nations: The Dice Game.

Ooo I should try Herbaceous solo!

Great video ! It seems really fun ! I do like a challenge it's like co-op games if it is too easy there is not that much that satisfying feeling of "I made it". So I quite enjoy that they went full in a bit hard crunchy game ! I love the solo mode of Viscount of the West Kingdom, it is challenging and very well designed !
@kovray2 жыл бұрын
You definitely feel incredible winning these games as they are crunchier!

Favorite solo game - Hmmmm - Onirim - I loved playing Creatur Comforts Solo - and Monsters on Board -

Ooo I played Onirim before and really enjoyed it! How was Creature Comforts solo?
@inkavandenbogaart17392 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video, it made me very interested in the game. But I think the game is a bit to difficult for me. The solo only games I like the most are Proving grounds and under falling skies.
@kovray2 жыл бұрын
There’s definitely a lot to balance but I find the puzzle extremely rewarding especially with the campaign element! I love Under Falling Skies but haven’t played Proving Grounds will check it out!

I play a lot of games solo! 2 months ago, I bought Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition. I've played 25 solo games of it already😅. It's really easy to set up and run and has multiple difficulties!

Ooo I will have to try that! Thank you for the mention!

so you got a deluxe copy for free from the creator. Of course you'd recommend it before culling it.

Our mission with our content is to spread the joy of board games and invite more folks into this wonderful space. Recommending a game that won’t resonate with people simply doesn’t make sense. Garphill Games is one of our favorite publishers, with Paladins being Tylor’s favorite game, and you’ll notice we spoke about reasons you may not enjoy this game as we do in majority of our videos. We also mentioned in the video that you should check it out for yourself. It’s available on TTS and there’s a few gameplay videos where you can learn more. Also this goes without saying but this one isn’t getting culled anytime soon :)

Not sure if this game is for me. I’m a solo player, but my favorite games so far are: Sub Terra, Sylvion, Mini Rogue. This one feels like a different style and I’m not sure if it fits for my play-style. Big hope that it’s not like Hadrian’s Wall game, as that one (flip and write game) does not feel great to me.
@kovray2 жыл бұрын
@@Vicvic91 I found it quite different than Hadrians Wall, it felt a little bit like Paladins but with less going on.
@Vicvic912 жыл бұрын
@@kovray Would you say the game fit into the ressource management category? Or what kind of game category would fit the best for such game? I’m interested to know when do you explain the reasons to not back it in your video, just to be sure that it fits or not for me. 🙌
