The leg panels also provide another option for weapon storage in vehicle mode, there are pegs in the interior of the legs where the gun can tab and then the panels close on top concealing it further.

Now this is a tetrajet mold to rival the Siege seeker mold. Would've SURPASSED the Siege mold if this were to have better neck articulation, but oh well.

Basically only one part of the head mold is all that holds back the Neck Articulation, which does suck.

This figure and silverbolt are voyagers that bring joy, form the videos seen they both are very solid figures. (I’m hoping to come across one in stores cause my new online card is a bit late and long weekend coming up) The accessories suprised he has the swords, gun, and key very nice fits with the figure very well. I have the dirge repaint of the original and hoping the toys r us version and the dirge version get repaints, the toys r us (thrust I call it) looks very nice and dirge would be cool a blue/gold variant

After watching few reviews of this figure and seeing it side by side with the old one, the reason why the blades feel short is that the shoulder pods sit higher when compared to the original.

Cyberyron was my introduction, My "G1" if you will, it really tickles my nostalgia whenever they revisit these designs. This is my favorite desgin for starscream, gonna have to add him to my list. One small thing I don't think you mentioned at all but, do his belly guns swivel at all? Like can they point forward in robot mode? Not a deal breaker if they don't, i recall the giant version having that is all. On a side note as cool as the cyber swords are, has anyone questioned how impractical shoulder mounted swords would be. You get like no dexterity.

So I had seen some pics where you could fit his newly designed blaster on the tip of the blade areas, as if to represent his Super Starscream upgrade (based on his Supreme Class version). Would be nice to try that gimmick for a change.

I think that the Blaster might be a nod to the supreme class version of the figure who had a blaster and sword as its cyberkey gimmick instead of the twin swords.

I just got my own copy. I am really enjoying handling it, and even discovered a fan mode that looks similar to the Aegis Gundam’s flying claw mode from Gundam SEED (also speaking of Gundam SEED, I can’t be the only one to think that the jet mode looks kinda like an F-7D Spearhead in some respects).

Unfortunately, no. The Cyber Key that comes with King Starscream is too small to fit into the slot in Override's weapon, which had been designed in such a way that it could fit one of the Cyber Keys from the 2005 toyline.

i think it's funny this figure is actually based on siege starscream("partial" as hasbro likes to call it) the only bits really showing this are the arms, lots of new bits but still the old siege double jointed elbow and hand hiding trick. also, the large gun can be carried horizontally behind his back. there's a tab on the underside of the gun, and a pair of slots on his back.

My only bugbears with this figure are the belly guns can't lift up and you cand swap out the left blade for the gun so as to evoke his powered form.

Hoping they will release a supreme version with a more accurate paint job, decepticon symbols on the wings, bigger null rays that go beyond the hands and a bigger cockpit then it is perfect. But for now Galaxy Meteor is the best version to own.

Starscream looks really solid. Though given how Armada Starscream's mold didn't get Thundercracker or Skywarp repaints yet, I have to wonder if this mold will get a Skywarp redeco at all

Pretty sure the "missle" on his gun is what is supposed to be the barrel. For some reason, Transformers toys of that era decided that the barrel of the weapon should be the missle, which is a really WEIRD design choice IMO. The most egregious example of this trend, would be the Generations classics seeker mold, in which the entire front half of the Null-Ray is the missle. Which just breaks not only the shape of the weapon, but his silhouette as well. Arguably the low point of the figure IMHO.

While the face sculpt is undoubtedly gorgeous, I find myself wishing he had a more normal stoic expression instead. Cybertron/Galaxy Force's iteration of Starscream had a more serious personality and didn't really smirk that often compared to other Starscreams.
