As a casual player who plays all sorts of games; I like this screen because it is easy on the eyes and easy to find a character. For some reason with the current/old screen, whenever I would come back to the game; I would forget and squint to find certain characters.

I think I like both this select screen and other game, but I love the new render art for all of the characters. Also I like the little touch of the descriptions of each of the characters and their ease of use like how Strive has it as well.

So based on this list, we have 3 more character slots open. They showed Nier, teased Grimnir, and I guess the bottom right is the Random select. For DLCs, they'll probably add more columns on the left and right.
