Legaia 2: Duel Saga was developed by Prokion and published by Eidos Interactive for the ps2. It is the sequel to Legend of Legaia which was released on the psx platform only. Sadly there is no legaia 3 but we can all dream.

I've gotten Power Necklace(AGL, MEN) here is the complete formula, Valor Ring(M) + Dark Jewel = Wizard Ring(INT, MEN) Wizard Ring(INT,MEN)(M) + Wisdom Bangle(M) = Hero's Bangle(STR,MEN) Hero's Bangle(M) + Beggar Bangle(22+XP) = Power Necklace (AGL,MEN) Both Wizard Ring(INT,MEN) and Wisdom Bangle should be completely mastered before combining.

I can confirm that maxing the Wizard Ring(INT,MEN) AND Wisdom Bangle on your way through does give you Power Necklace(AGL,MEN). It must have something to do with changing the skill priority during the combining process, since I went through and DIDN'T max the Wisdom Bangle, and I only had one bonus on my Power Necklaces. @Syon Grey - You may want to update your guide on GameFAQs. :)

This comment may have been left 6 years ago, but it just saved my ass lol. I was so confused and frustrated that the combo in the video didn't result in the double bonus (AGL, MEN) power necklace. Its a fun one to min-max, I've still never quite finished a full set of end-game accessories cause I always clear the game leveling up and move on but there are tons of cool abilities to use and such. Such a deep accessory combination system...

Another easy way to get some money right at the start of the game without battling is using the Nohl shops item buying bonuses. Right at the start when you have 500G go to the shop and be sure to buy and sell each of these items 1 at a time, buy 10 poison cures then sell them, leave and enter the shop to get Pedomiter, Venom Cure, Heal Leaf and Revival Bottle, sell them (other than the pedomiter) for 4,175G, you should have 4,545G after selling them. Next buy 43 Heal Powders and then sell 35 of them (you'll have 8 left over to keep) then leave and reenter the shop a few times to get Handwoven Carpet and Big Child's Bed then sell them for 85,000G so by the time you're done this you can have 86,995G before even leaving for the tutorial battles and add some points onto the point card.

To clarify when I say buy and sell 1 at a time I mean buy 1 poison cure at a time until you have 10 then sell them the same way, not buy 10 at one time, then the same with the rest of the items.

So that means I must combine a mastered Doomed Necklace with a Feeble Jewel to create a Bonus Bangle with Special Ability... Furthermore, looking at the post, it seems what I need to create is a specialized Beggar's Bangle instead of a Valor Ring...

Its true that accessory combining can be extremely complicated. I usually find it to be pretty fun but sometimes it is just ridiculous.

I'm releasing a text guide for this for GameFAQs which should be finished within a week or so. It will include the best way to forge all of these accessories including the right formulas to use and such. So far I've been going off of the slides only and have been able to make the Hero's Bangle(STR,MP) and the Power Necklace(AGL,MEN) without any issues. As long as the third one pans out then everything will be good. I just can't remember which one was giving me trouble before. Either way I'm determined to really nail it all down this time and document exactly how to get all three of these wonderful accessories. I will post in the comments if I run into any troubles and how to resolve them.

I think I may have found the problem. I have combined Power Necklace (AGL, MEN) in two separate occasions. What I've done is to make sure your Hero Bangle (STR, MEN) has 6 skills instead of 5. This is done by maxing the Wizard Ring (INT, MEN) so that Int Boost 1 is transferred to Hero Bangle despite Hero Bangle (STR, MEN) can be combined without maxing the said WIzard Ring. What I also figured out is that try to make the Wisdom Bangle that's to be combined with the Wizard Ring as 'pure' as possible by creating two of them, and then combine them together to get rid of the Turtle skill inherited from Barricade ring. After that, MEN Bonus should transfer when the Hero Bangle is maxed and combined with Beggar's Bangle. The Beggar's Bangle doesn't have to be 'pure', just leveled sufficiently to unlock AGL Bonus. @@scionphoenix i know whats the issue is, its not written down entirely as for the Power Necklace(AGL,MEN). The Wizard Ring(INT,MEN) must be max leveled, if u manage to combine without maxing level of the wizard ring , u gonna get Hero Bangle(STR,MEN) with 5 attributes, if its maxed leveled wizard ring, u gonna have 6 attributes instead when ur hero's bangle got 6 attributes, then ure on the right path.

Yes the point is to get as many bonus points as possible to your stats. After level 99 then you make another set of accessories with the good abilities on them. I’ll load up my old save file and see how much damage my guys are doing cause I forget now

I was curious if there was a way to make an accessory that has CHA Bonus & INT Bonus on it at that point in time as well? Not that you would be able to equip it at that point in time to anyone except Kazan after he gets a few levels.

It should be quite possible, also - I have not done a playthrough of this game very recently and i might soon return to it. Its possible that with my new knowledge and abilities i can finally solve the mystery of how its so damn hard to recreate these accessories. The first time it worked perfectly, so well i probably forget a step in the confusion somewhere. the second time i just could not make my third accessory at all.

@@scionphoenix I'm glad that you're still interested in this game enough to try and tinker with the very complex accessory combination system. I'm thinking about trying my hand at figuring out some combinations as well in the future. My hope is to create two accessories with 3 different bonuses on each and a third accessory with the last two bonuses. It's going to be a very time-consuming hobby, hopeful I won't get burned out and quit before I get the results I'm searching for.

Yeah can't get Power Necklace with double bonus without going off the guide. I suggest taking a look at the double bonus slide and just pick 3 that you want and combine accordingly. Hero Bangle (STR MEN) Valor Ring (MEN DEF) Beggar's Bangle (AGL HP) looks good just no MP lol.

The guide works to get you all of the bonus abilities, you just have to read the slides very carefully. It gets kind of confusing because you have to use specific accessories as component accessories for the setup to work. I tried to make it understandable but it ended up being a bit confusing

Why are you only making two fugitive necklace and 2 valor rings (therefore set of 2), why not 3 so that you can equip it to Lang, Maya, and Kazan right from the beginning? And when Sharon comes in, you can just change out which ever character for her?

I got so bored with the game and it's been on my person for so many yrs that at one point I got to lvl 15 fought Elphin with 5 art blocks lol. I also killed Rauss at like lvl 73 and killed him in 2 turns

Okay I found the problem but I can't find a solution. For some reason, combining the Hero's Bangle(STR,MEN) with a Beggar's Bangle(22xp) will result in a Power Necklace with only AGL bonus sometimes. Other times though it results in a Power Necklace(AGL,MEN) which is what we want. I just repeated this process again for the guide and the first time it worked out perfectly. I followed the exact same steps for the third one and it didn't work. I have no idea how this happens or how to fix it. I followed the exact same steps for forging the exact same accessories and got a different result. it just doesn't make any sense. If anybody has any ideas do share.

Just keep defending until they eventually run away. Thats the only way. The big red rock monsters run less but they're harder

@@scionphoenix Thank you for the answer but I found a solution! Just wait for a group in the Forest Maze where Bean Canon will appear. Beat everyone up until there's only Bean Canon left and wait for Mrs. Bean to spit out! Then kill Bean Canon and then just put the group on guard! Pinch the x on the Joypay and then just wait and do the housework in the meantime! after about 30 minutes almost everything is up to max 😁 shield or hp recover on the chars is very helpful! I'm through with the game again

you need to Master both Wizard (INT,MEN) and Wisdom acc. combine it to become Hero. that should work for complete bonus stat on Power Necklace.

Syon what is the point of all this? you can use the siphon abilitys and the power necklaces to become ultimately overpowered in this game, is this to get as many bonus points on level up as possible? i maxed out around 2 million damage on the final boss with siphon abilitys power necklaces and the full power defense ability with mystic arts, what about you?

Might be a bit late, but this is only for min/max purposes to get the maximum value for the bonuses. You can easily beat the game without ever using these bonus accessories so you don't have to worry about staying under-leveled if you'd prefer a more natural experience.
