Every adult should already know the only person you trust with your money is yourself. If you want to invest your money then review your 401K package at your job first and then begin educating yourself on investing. You are supposed to be your own advisor. Nobody needs anyone to manage or invest their money. There are free books at the library anyone can read to educate themselves on investing. There are also companies like Vanguard, Charles Schwab, etc that a lot of people's employers have their 401K created at so go visit your local branch and speak with an advisor there since they are not getting a commission and you can ask all your questions about investing to.

Especially if that person is charging you a management fee. Ladies make sure to file a formal complaint with the Feds. Also anybody that trades your money you can check the FINR or/SEC Website and verify if they are license.
