how can my wife hurry up the process. she was born in Colorado to a filipino father in 1944 it is not a re-aquisition or retention. It is a new application. her father got naturalized AFTER she was born but did not re-aquire his citizenship but died in 1989 so now what?

A child born in the US to both Filipino citizen doesn't automatically become an American citizen at present.

The Queen of England is the only person who does not require a British passport to enter a foreign country. If she attempts to enter the Philippines without a British passport then the Philippine authorities to pretty much tell her to "FO". Everyone of us have to go through all the red tapes to get a dual citizenship but she doesn't even have to have British passport. Such British BS.

You don't need to "reAcquire or apply for retention" if you had been married with an Italian born and blood citizen for at least 18 months you as a Filipino wife Do Not Need to reAcquire or apply for her Filipino citizen. Italian citizenship through marriage does not require you to abandon your Filipino citizen as born Filipino. London embassy of the Philippines Do Not read the Italian Law or a matter of hypocrisy collecting money repeatedly from natural born Filipino citizen for renewing a passport !

You lose your Filipino citizen IF the country you adopted require you to take an oath and disown your Filipino citizenship. This is not up to date news.
