I am british and my marrige was in Pakistan , during covid times we did zoom marrige but I have all the documents , marriage certificate etc all in english from Pakistan government. My wife came to UK on student visa as it was easier and faster way to get into UK. she is geniune student in UK going uni and almost finishing her BSc in computer in 1st class so far. our 2 years are coming soon, do we need to register for marriage again here or old certificate should suffice ? can we apply for spouse visa after we stay in UK together for 2 years or we can apply now ? Thank you

Hello sir, Today I had a appointment to give notice for marriage, Im on student visa but registrar said provide share code for immigration without it we cannot proceed. i called home office but they said we can’t provide it please advise me

@@ZMCTV she applied to asylum and her screening also been done, and now she had left only a final interview call of verification and some formalities, she is under govt of uk, and living in govt provided hotel, she has also approved NHS facility, schooling facility for her little brother

@@kashmirsingh4318 you can marry her but there is a long process, Register office will first get permission from Home Office to register your marriage. Registered marriage will not help you at this stage.

you no need to register as your marriage is already registered under Indian law in India

both need to attend register office for notice of marriage, they will send your documents of home office and will get permission to register marriage. Home Office may ask both of you to attend an interview. once home office gives permission to register office then they will register your marriage

religious marriage is not recognised in UK. for a spouse visa you must be married under law of the country
