LEGAL TERMS IN SHORTHAND | ADVANCED TUTORIAL
Here, you will learn about the most commonly used legal terms in the trial court here in the Philippines.
Gregg shorthand is a system of phonography, or a phonetic writing system, which means it records the sounds of the speaker, not the English spelling. It uses the f stroke for the f sound in funnel, telephone, and laugh. All silent letters are omitted. (Memory Techniques Wiki)

As a trainee as Court Stennographer I observe that its a bet different from what we learn in school, in court there is no rules on writing shorthand as long as you can trancribe it into longhand.

If you are, always remember that you are a professional Court Stenographer and that you are qualified for the job. Believe in yourself. Hindi biro ang pag-aaral natin ng Steno. Kaya lagi mo ding tandaan na skilled tayo in this field, that's why we are in this profession. About the nervousness felt inside the court during trial, you have to determine what makes you nervous and address that first to eliminate the nervousness itself. Hello po... Very helpful po videos nyo... I studied steno1 online for 30hours only..and then now po...apply po ako sa court..and started training... Paano po ba ma develop Ang speed at accuracy sa tulad kung beginner...sobrang hirap po for me... Pa help po...

Nadedevelop ang speed over time. Isang way para madevelop ang speed and accuracy is to practice a lot. Look for dictation materials sa KZbin. Marami dito. Then practice your steno skills with those.

Yes, my shorthand are all based sa book at sa kung ano ang napag-aralan during college. My strokes are based on standard strokes. But becasue of the passage of time and gained experience sa court, may mga personal strokes na ako to make it more faster during the actual hearing.
