He was Wisconsin, he was a Brewer. Thanks for all of the memories Ueck. A true legend, Mr. Baseball. There will never be another Bob Uecker. Wisconsin and our fans lost a true great. I would watch the games on tv with the volume off and listen to him on the radio instead. It’s a SAD day for the sport of baseball. He stared baseball in our home town of Eau Claire, Wisconsin along with Hank Aaron.

Thanks for the wonderful tribute to Ueck, Micheal. As a kid growing up in 1970's Milwaukee and a fan of the Brewers, Ueck was responsible for many moments of joy and laughter that have and forever will stick with me. He truly was one of a kind. RIP, Ueck. "Get up, get up, get outta here!"

Growing up in Milwaukee, and still living here today, I'll miss that voice this summer. Rest in peace, my friend.

There were a handful of people that I remember that could break up Johnny Carson with just about every line. Rodney Dangerfield, Don Rickles, Art Donovan and Bob Uecker are the names that immediately come to mind. Thank you Mr. Uecker for all the smiles and laughter you have given to us over many years. Rest in peace.

i just had to watch his 1971 performance on Johnny Carson's show to remind me of how he made everyone laugh when he was beginning his rise to fame of dead pan drawing laughter with his funny stories. Bob would have wanted to remembered for the laughter he brought with public appearances. Thanks Mr Kay bringing more of Uecker highligghts of his life.

I remember hearing Uecker call a Brewers game many years ago, and he joked of, as a player, once drinking while sitting in the dugout of his team. His co-announcer asked him immediately, "Was that before the game or after the game?" And without missing a beat, Uecker responded, "During." Very funny man, and he absolutely loved baseball. I'll miss him and his sense of humor.

Arguably one of the BEST Rabbit holes to venture down, watching Mr. Baseball on Johnny Carson. Make sure you have an X-L box of Kleenex as you will be crying with laughter. Then finish off with his Hall of Fame induction speech. 18Minutes of 1 liners and then grab another box of Kleenex. R.I.P. Mr. Baseball.

Someone who had lung cancer for 22+ years did not "lose" that battle even if that was the cause of death. As sports broadcasters constantly remind us of athletes, "Father Time is undefeated."

He had lung cancer since 2023 not 2003. Kay misspoke
