These guys spent the better part of 3 shows lecturing Yankee fans why they can't be happy for Mets fans that their team won playoff games. Feel however you like about that, but i heard at least a full segment on multiple shows about it. Couldn't have been any more of a waste of time thing to focus on when you had TWO baseball teams making deep playoff runs.

All of you are looking at it from a fans perspective. Look at it from an organizational perspective. You don't want it in the papers, radio, ESPN, Fox sports that the QB you over drafted and paid a ridiculous amount of money to went to your rival and beat you weeks after you released him. Couple that with the fact that your organization couldn't get him to play well. It would be laughable. The Jets are a prime example. They are a literal joke. No business wants to be embarrassed. It isn't good for business.

Jones was solid in at least half of the games he played. Accuracy was a bit down from in the past probably due to the leg and neck surgeries. I just hope DJ doesn't pair in Dallas with Belichick next season.

This was the right move for both sides. What I don’t get is all the analysts were saying how bad DJ is and how they need to cut him/bench him/get rid of him and then when they finally get rid of him everyone says how badly the giants treated him. Yes the giants handled this poorly but this is the move everyone has been begging for over the past year now. With that being said I think DJ is talented but very inconsistent, he needs a better coach and much better players around him to even have a chance to thrive as a starting qb in the nfl.

The Giants made a mistake and thought Daniel Jones was a better option to keep over Saquon Barkley. That was a major oopsie clearly. Would’ve saved them money long term. Jones has stunk up the joint since he signed that contract extension. That cannot be disputed

whether Jones got let go now or at the end of the season it was going to happen sure the giants could have handled this better. but to me they made the right decision Jones was terrible he shouldn't have gotten that contract extension just because he had a great 22. there was no way he was going to duplicate what he did the following year. you hope he would but based on his track record 6 years and 1 good year he had i wouldn't bet on it.

Lol duplicate 2022? The man threw 15 TD passes and slightly over 3,000 yards in a doggon passing ever we it rules in place to allow easier passing efficiency. The guy stays on 1 read and struggles at going through his progressions. And barely throws the ball down field. The guy I'd just not a good QB. They should of kept Saquon knowing they wasn't keeping Jones beyond this season.

If he goes to another team and embarrasses the giants then I’m fine with it because then we know for sure that Brian dabol and Joe schoen need to be fired immediately. Idk why people defend Brian dabol, he’s supposed to be an offensive guru and the offense is dead last in the league and Joe schoen has made himself look like an arrogant moron. Come back and beat the giants jones then Mara can see that Brian dabol and Joe schoen are not the guys and we can start over like we should anyways at the end of the season. I don’t trust these guys to pick a QB and keep “building the team”. Been 3 years and the team sucks and their qb evaluation has been awful. They evaluated jones and gave him a contract then they evaluated drew locke and made him the backup. Complete waste of money. They absolutely look clueless. Dabol got lucky with Josh Allen and Joe schoen was probably not as important in buffalo as people thought.
