Having worked for the Florida Department of Education during the "NO Child Left Behind" era, I saw first hand the push to teach to the test, and then once the score came in, there was an over 100 personnel that's sole job was to statistically manipulate the data, then reviewed by the Commissioner himself review and either sent back or accepted before releasing to the public. Sometime it took 6 to 8 times running the number different ways to get the desired results.

A friend of mine had a younger brother that struggled with word problems. We changed all of his word problems to baseball statistics one night, he got a 100, because he loved baseball

How does CF keep getting some of the best interviews/guests on KZbin?

I didn’t do well in school because they didn’t teach the way I learn. I’ll never get it, nor retain it from a book, but show me a video and it clicks for me.

I was really good in math in school, but my high school teacher was always frustrated because I never followed the right procedures. He would say "I don't know how you do it the way you do but you always get the right answer." Everyone learns differently.

Funneling everyone into the same box is a direct outpouring of evolutionary thinking. To quote Bill Nye, survival of the fittest means survival of the one who fits in best. That is one of the issues with our society. We look at society through a flawed ideology

Did the autopsy of T. Crook cover-up psychiatric (SSRI) medication use? Why did they scrub his parent's house?

It's extremely sad looking back at how diverse KZbin 2A videos used to be until all the new attack rules. Build videos, meltdowns, all kinds of fun.

Kaya pronounced Kamala at 8:00 (as "Kamala", the Ugandan Head-hunter) as her parents spelled it. If it is to be pronounced otherwise, it should have been spelled "KAMMALA" with 2 "M"s! At 1:02:13 Paul does so, too. The transcript records it as "CAMALA"!
