Johnny Broadway after watching this video, I can see why she would get tons of lead roles. She’s not only incredibly talented, but in this show, there’s a level of energy that everyone needs to have & she had that. Her Delta Nu sisters dancing & singing behind her didn’t come across near peppy enough for this show. You almost have to have a mix of a cheerleader & Disneyland employee type energy. It could also just be a case of some people have the it factor & some people don’t. That’s just my take on what I saw in this video anyway.

Her acting as Elle isn’t quite fully there for me (in comparison to versions I’ve seen by amdram companies and broadway) but she is still infinitely better than like everyone else - and I am aware that this is a school production. But This level of performance and voice from such a young artist is just incredible and I’m not even slightly surprised she landed on broadway straight outta school.
