@@mickjaegar2379 Caesar's whole schtick is that the Legion should be destroyed along with its enemies so that something new - hopefully fusing the most enduring qualities of its predecessors - emerges from their ashes. Being alive to oversee that process would radically increase its chances of leaving a legacy.

@@Rj-pw7zs It wasn't hundreds all at one moment. It'd be small hunting parties, spread out to scout an area since their locations were unknown. You'd find dead Scouts or hear screams in the distance, but the Legion doesn't exactly have aerial surveillance or radios. Trained and equipped guerilla fighters could absolutely kill hundreds in a year, a handful at a time.

This really hammers home that the legion are just a raider gang, a fairly well organised and very large one, but still just a gang. I mean could you imagine how one sided a fight between them and the Enclave from earlier games would be? Or how long lanius would last against our boy *Frank* ?

Well, it does make sense when you consider that the Legion is an unkown to them, and the NCR are basically the ones who put the finishing blow to the Enclave. All those guys lost a lot of friends and family to the NCR.

The Enclave never ceases to be based. The remnants are just bunch of old dying men. Imagine, if that was the Enclave in fo2 or 3, they would either turn the hole roman cosplayer femboys into a mass grave or their research hub for human experimentation subjects

Didht expect anything else from elite enclave soldiers with superior training and technology which only the protagonists were able to defeat them. The funniest thing is that they are very old too, they must think of the modern Ncr and the Legion as kids playing war, they are lucky that they'll never meet Frank Horrigan or the Ultracite Terror.
