Remember, Platinum made this game. While it doesn't have the time and polish that's usually shown on a Clover Studios/Platinum games work, Legend of Korra is like the others in its history ("The Wonderful 101," "Bayonetta", Viewtiful Joe", etc.) in one major way: If you're willing to put in the time and effort, you can make some really cool things happen. After seeing "The Wonderful 101" in action, I get the feeling that a Avatar/Legend of Korra game could be amazing--with the right amount of money and development time, of course.

While you are good as always, this game just seems bad. It looks like it plays like a terrible version of Bayonetta or Devil May Cry. Her animations look so jagged and stopgap and I don't appreciate the vomiting of special effects everywhere. Especially when no water is around. On it's own, maybe it's okay given the price, but as a link to the Avatar universe, this sucks.

Idiots like you need to have some sense beat into them, so let me crack my knuckles. First, what you said to me can be said right back at you. You are the one who started to swear at me and belittle my observations, so that makes you look like an ass, not me. Also, you failed to grasp most of my post and went into territory that didn't matter (i.e. other avatar games) I didn't bring up those games at all, I judged this only on the previous work of the studio. Also, I was led to believe this was a fully priced action title and not a short little game. That's my fault and allows the developers some slack for a smaller scope of a game. What I didn't like is how it portrayed bending in the Avatar Universe. Water from nowhere being one of them and just spamming of the elements from wherever. It just didn't look good to crowd the screen with a bunch of BS flying everywhere. You are clearly one of those idiots who say, "Don't like it? Don't read/watch it?" Well, how am I supposed to know about the product if I don't view it? What if it gets better like I hope these things usually do? What if I was hyped for it and then let down? Can I not express my displeasure? It's my dollar at stake here. Nitpicking about animations? No such thing. That is direction visual confirmation of how you are controlling your character. If every or most movements are sloppy, that affects how you play. It's also involuntary. It's not like I look for these things, but since the is eye automatically is drawn to that "uncanny valley" it takes me out of the gameplay experience. Complaining is not pointless when it's done in a constructive manner. Since I doubt one of the designers on this game is reading these comments, why should I bother to elaborate more on a point that very few would really understand? Instead, it attracts fools like you which I'll get to in a minute, but that's my mistake. Complaining is also necessary. How can we expect anything to improve without feedback, no matter how negative? Are you happy with mediocre products? You just want to accept "good enough"? Yeah, have fun with low standards. A life without some conflict is boring. Strive for better, improve yourself, that's what winners do. That's when we get the stuff that's truly awesome and the stuff that we remember! You may think this game looks fun/amazing/whatever top shelf word you want to use, but guess what? You have shit taste. Look man, I go to school for this shit. Art and Animation is what I do. If I notice this stuff, it's there, but maybe not obvious to Joe Audience. I even said IT WAS OKAY GIVEN THE PRICE! I wash my hands of you.

Lol some comments where people said its not bad. Avatar is a martial arts series, not just a bending series. They forgot to add the most important thing, and there is no excuse for their failure. You can't turn a story about tribal warfare, into a beat em up game with random enemies no one knows anything about, and expect the whole fanbase to be like, "yeh this is great." It looks like there is not even an avatar state for the character. This isn't an avatar bending game, its a use water, rocks, fire, or some white stuff we are going to call air to fight unlimited enemies that have never been in any of the avatar airbender franchises. I didnt even know this game existed until I saw some guy make a video about how bad Bayonetta 2 and 3 are compared to bayonetta 3. Because he said something about this game that I don't remeber xD. Plus the older games before this one were wayyyyy worse. So only a moron would think they could redeem the past failures, with this half decent crapy 5/10 game.
