There's a myth that all Hindus and Sikhs are vegetarian. A study shows that 52% Hindus eat meat,mutton or fish whereas In Sikhs this percentage is little higher. 60% women and 80% Sikhs consume meat, mutton or fish. But yeah! Consumption of beef in both communities is negligible. I haven't seen anyone eating beef at home . In restaurants one can take just for the sake of taste.
