The magician looks like a mix of Sima Yi or Zhuge Liang and Zhang Jiao Spear guard is possibly Cheng Yuanzhi or Zhang Yan

It took all the way to defeat the Crusader just to save the girl that was getting dragged away multiple times. Also i wonder which cage she was before they come back to look at edge where Crusader died.

I genuinely feel bad for the kidnapped girl in all of this. Every single time the bad guy is defeated she just gets pulled out of hero's reach, or kidnapped again by a minion immediately after the fight is over before she can be freed... Very rough lot.
